As Sudeep brother said we should be really grateful towards Vishal dai for his contribution to the scene, without him we would never afford to see numerous international bands here in Nepal, and also the opportunities he created for the local bands too. I still remember the first edition of Nepal Death fest held at a party palace in Nakkhu, Lalitpur where we got to see Homicide and CoJ from Bangladesh, and a band from India too. At that time, I got to have a conversation with Vishal dai and Zivon dai, where they were already planning for the second edition, on which bands to bring and to make it a two days festival if possible and the future editions of NDF actually became a two days fest. This also reminds how passionate we were for the bands back then, everytime the gig used to finish late night, there wouldn't be any public bus running around in Kathmandu after 8, so I remember walking from Thamel to Baneshwor numerous times. Not only Vishal dai helped the underground scene to survive in KTM, but he also made it possible for the scene to flourish out of Kathmandu, in numerous cities, which we would have never imagined. So, I wish he will stay in the scene for a long time, despite of all the problems he faces during the management of the show, and we will get to see more fantastic bands in the coming future.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. we surely believe that Vishal brother has done alot in uplifting the underground scene in Nepal. cheers to better musical days in the future.
