8:40 destroying one of their cards was never the right play because you're helping them by thinning their deck. And you wasted 2 Energy and locked yourself out of being able to play there.

Usually I'd say you're right, but it's okay to do that in a deck where you have lots of movement options which he did have. It's kind of like using storm and not playing and cards at her location because you know you can get power into her location later in the match. It was close, but he made the right call for this deck I think.

Red guardian their Jeff was better play

Yeah it actually was the right play in the end, but there was that "Asgard" at the left location and he might have thought they might move Jeff there that turn which would have wasted his Red Guardian.

@@Anathemata I would think they only move the Jeff on turn 4 if they think they lose there. So turn 3 with priority would have a high success rate if hitting Jeff
