Lake Lookout bass fishing

Water temp 77°
Water visibility 2ft
Water was down 3 or 4ft but the fish were still shallow and near the main lake. Caught 2 on the whopper plopper and lost 2 and caught a few decent fish on a jig not a bad day for lookout

Post spawn/Shad spawn always my best topwater time. Can't wait to see you crush some cali lunkers on topwaters

It's amazing how those bass with ripped gills like that one live a normal life. It just shows you how well they can survive after a good hook stuck there. Thanks for showing that.

What’s this lake like compared to Mountain Island?

Its alot like mtn island except it has very few spotted bass. It has less bass but I think it has bigger bass. Its usually a tough bite and I've been skunked a few times but I've also had some of my best days here

They hit it on the fall every time but get it close as possible to the dock poles
