Chaotic put up a good fight and nearly made a comeback when it entered its frenzied state! But my goodness Valstrax is on an entirely different level, it’s so strong and agile! Very enjoyable fight to watch 😃
Nah the devs rly went biased mode on Valstrax. Shagaru almost beat it and it had no major changes to its lackluster MH4 moveset. Shagaru got done dirty by the devs, Chaotic shouldnt even be more powerful than it. Valstrax laser is just straight up busted vs other monsters due to the way it works in game.
@@Abysstorm Do you know even a bit of MH lore? Shagaru was considered as the "Heaven Wheel" in 4U. He has the strenght, IQ, experience, abilities and ailments as advantage.
It looke pretty bad for Chaotic near the middle of the fight due to it growing tired, but once it entered Full Frenzy, he caught up insanely fast. This match could have gone either way if Chaotic got some more Explosions off since they just rapidly drain the HP bar like a smoothie.
There’s the monster I would’ve selected in Shagaru Magala’s place in your Sunbreak community post for Deathmatch suggestions had Chaotic Gore Magala been in the base game. Amazing match all around from both monsters! Continuing to look forward to future matches, as usual.

Looks like I entered High Rank just in time! Damn, does Crimson Glow Valstrax just go absolutely ham on when it's fully charged up! I have a sneaking suspicion that only the winner of the *Elder Tier Tournament* could stand up to that absolute menace of the skies!

Powerful long range attacks and adaptable reach with its wings and powerful ramming attacks, I can see why Crimson Glow Valstrax would have this victory. Also Both monsters are suffering from thier own power turning on them putting them in constant pain.
Even lorewise I don't think CGM stand a chance. He is already suffering from the Shagaru malformation whereas Valstrax is not afflicted with any kind of disease it's just that it has an overload of dragon element
That laser spam was as dirty as a sucker punch, and Chaotic still managed to bring Crimson at the verge of death. It may have lost, but it was to one of the most OP of all the monsters

Chatic made some sick Dodges, but Valstrax just stunned it constantly. The Delayed Bombs pretty much guarantee two Stuns in a Row, and he just wont stop whit his Attacks what have super high Reach. And at some Point he just chained like 5 Beam Combos together. Crimsonglow is sooo brocken. Sadly even Chaotics trumpcard didnt helped enough. Looked like he could get him at the End, but it was a bit to late. At least he inflicted a lot of Pain to the Comet.
@Sunae can't agree more, that laser spam almost seems broken; any one looking to beat valstrax gonna need a way to deal with that and its crazy reach and speed.
I just realized something. Is CG Valstrax programmed to _always_ try and finish the Beam animation? Every time he gets flinched during the beam, he tries again. Without fail.

Wow, because Valstrax keeps up quite a brave front and hardly staggers, I'd have totally thought him to have a big lead throughout the fight without the health bars! But Chaotic Gore still put out some impressive damage, it could have gone either way in the end. This fight makes me wonder how Valstrax would fare against something with forced topples like Scorned Magnamalo (first one that comes to mind), when it can't just keep pumping out attacks non-stop
