Sherry😘! Those lungi you told "bollywood inspired" are real lungis which south indian men wear as informal ones! Thats not bollywood inspired 😝And the other one in white one is known as 'mundu' and that is what south indian mem wear as formal ones ! :)

I recently started watching ur videos. I loved d delhi segment. Bt in Kochi u got to c only the main stores. The best shopping spots r at convent junction, fort Kochi nd mattanchery where u get a variety of stuff. Try dm sometime. love, Angel.

Dearie, The dress you mentioned in Seemati is not Lungi. It's mund. Mund is worn by Kerala men (formal wearing). Lungi is different from mund. Lungi is worn only at home.
Gold and saris are very hard to pull it off especially non residents, I got some cheap sarees and one expensive one last year and have not worn it yet!!!! My wedding silk gold thread saris have worn only during wedding occasions!!! Regarding gold my first purchase has been gold bangles from Dubai airport and Dubai souk which for 16 bangles I paid $2500 and they very heavy blinky gold and white gold!!! I found it reasonable than India. I’m from Ahmedabad India staying in USA. But gold and saris inc dresses are sky rocket expensive I find cheaper yet fine looking stuff in city and now law garden sells all kind of clothes not just traditional. Don’t be disappointed if you can’t afford as India everything is expensive or cheap no balance. In Dubai gold souk market you will find day to day wearable gold. I wear those gold bangles more even on western outfits than my mom or in-laws gold bangles too heavy and traditional!!!!

I went for holidays last month. It was amazing so much people in shopping centers, Great customers service buy almost all shops. Affordable food and a great variety of food. Only downside is the heat as i am from a dry and cold country it was really humid for me and i kept sweating every sec. Wearing a super comfortable summer wear and using face tissue to rub of the sweat made it a bearable atmosphere.
