Hype4 is endgame.
I mainly use my own Arete and the fiio fa19
hey fresh , looking for an iem with immersive gaming with great soundstage and bass along with relaxed treble . wil ziigaat doscinco or ziigaat arete be better for me . i only do single player games so no competitive gaming
Another banger
aaaaayyyy
Would you go with supermix 4s at 130 price point or these at 200? Is the difference worth the -70
S12 2024 is my pick but it’s entirely up to you if you’re on a tight budget
@@FreshReviewsYT That's fair, saw the aretes were 210 as well and those piqued my interest. It's going to be my first time purchasing IEMs so probably better off not spending that much!
Is your Tierlist ranked based on performance, like Xenns Top > Yayin Canon >...?
@@pqpgodw of course. In game performance across multiple titles.
Hey man, I have some SM4s from SIMGOT and whilst they sound great in general I find in CoD especially they sound a bit, meh. Don’t get me wrong they won’t be as good as the HD560s I don’t expect that at all but they sound a bit washed out (unsure if that’s the best word to use)… would a DAC/AMP help when on PS5?
It would yes
@@FreshReviewsYTdo you believe it would stop the sort of washed up audio where it sounds like there’s no separation or would you recommend a different pair of IEMs, want something around a similar price (£125/$150) but available easily in the UK if possible.
Do a review of the Hifiman Arya Organic
Those things look gorgeous but I think I blew my IEM budget buying budget IEMs. Artti T10 ($53), KZ EDC Pro($5), Tangzu Wan Er SG($14), Kinera Celest Wyvern Abyss($18), Fat Freq x HBB Deuce($239). And right now I'm on the fence for the Simgot EW300 DSP and the Fiio K11 R2R.
Sell most of those and get these 🎉
The S12 is $100 CAD more than the SuperMix 4, do you think its worth to pay the premium?
Probably not but it depends how tight the budget is and what specifically your preferences would be. Me personally I like the s12 2024 more
Any plans on reviewing ew300 dsp ?
Did you play siege with these? If so would you say it worth it over the supermix 4?
I did not
Nice Neptune Pro pad!
Hi, I want to buy an IEM and finalized 2 IEMs, S12 2024 and Ziigaat Arete, I don't have much preference as I am currently using QKZ HBB 20$ Iem, and planning to upgrade, my main purpose is mainly gaming and watching anime and bit of music listening. Please suggest one of these. Also I don't have any dac/amp. I will directly use them to my iphone using lightning to 3.5mm dongle and my macbook pro.
No dac amp id probably stay Arete
Hey dude, wonder what you think of the Estrella vs your Arete?
@@TheNEOONE1 I believe there are graphs online to help you visualize the difference. Check squiglinks

@@FreshReviewsYT nevermind. I found what I was looking for

They look really sick, are they much better than the original? I tried the S12 not long ago and while my focus wasn't games, I thought that the low end was just a little blunt sounding and they had a bit of sibilance in the cymbals. I think they are very good for being ~$110 but nothing insane. Oh, well the built quality is actually insane, super durable.
@@nyororomeowelas1225 yea I believe I gave the original no higher than a b- to c+
is there any difference in tuning between the 2024 edition and the old sl12 pro? my country only seems to have the old one
@@yh12z1 you could check squig links and compare s12 pro to thieaudio 4 and see how it lines up with the s12 2024. I do throw up graphs comparing the two different tunings to the hype 4 but I can’t remember if the s12 pro had a diff tuning than the s12 og
@@FreshReviewsYT yes the s12 pro has a slightly smoother treble compared to the s12. also i wonder if its worth upgrading to the 2024 edition from the original s12. i wish the shell was entirely titanium instead of half plastic
Have you actually tried the artti t10? They would get an easy B+ just like the letshuoer for less than half the price...
I haven’t
is it good for heavy metals and hard rock?
Are the original s12 as good as the 2024 or should i go with s08 instead. I want to try a planar iem for gaming
I don’t remember the s12 original being remotely as good for gaming
@@FreshReviewsYT I wish you could still get the s12 2024 then, everywhere i look theyre sold out
I've been watching your budget-oriented videos lately as I'm looking for a budget IEM for CS2 and Valorant. It seems the QKZ HBB and EW200 are the best options within my budget. Would you say the EW200 is much better than the QKZ HBB for gaming? The EW200 is about $18 more expensive than the QKZ HBB; do you think it's worth it?
Haven’t tested both in a looooooong time
@@FreshReviewsYT No worries, appreciate it!
EW300 is so good for CS2. Its my main now, beats every iem i got for so low price.
I have:
- Orchestra lite
- Intuaura splendor 2
- supermix 4
- ea500lm
- And some others i dont use for competitive gaming
I bought the dsp ew300, but use it with modmic iem cable so its basically the standard version.
Use default nozzle and tips
@@ching8733 Did you try it with the dsp cable? Was it also good for CS2?
@@Degsterino I have not tried DSP with gaming, cable is to short to reach my usb port at the back of my pc 😅.
But stock 3,5mm is very good for CS2.
Maybe i will try later and see if there is any difference if I somehow can manage around the cable.
whats the difference of it and the original s12?
How are those compared to the Supermix 4? Purely for gaming.
Better.
Hi fresh, I have one to make you,
I’m looking for iem (budget200$) to play fps games (i play competitive on r6) could you tell me which model you consider best?
Ps: Having seen your reviews I was considering buying supermix
I’d look at super mix or the s12 2024
Thank you bro
Comparing them with a sennhesiser hd 560s Who would win?
Xenns top vs arete vs fa19. Which?
What is your opinion on DSP iems?
I’d rather use my amp dac. However, for grabbing it on the go and using my phone or something like that it’s pretty legit
how's this compared to supermix 4 for gaming?
Which is better s12 pro or this❤
What’s your opinion on the splendor 2 and are they better than these just curious I’ve been thinking of getting a pair
Very close between the two. I think the s12 2024 has a safer tuning
@@FreshReviewsYT is this a 3.5mm cable or is it a completely different cable
@@H2xphantom it is a modular cable. You can change the termination to 3.5 or 4.4 or 2.5
@@FreshReviewsYT ok thank you i just preorder ed them from amazon for my first iem i cant wait to get them, love the vids bro
@@FreshReviewsYTsafe to assume the Splendor 2’s have better bass?
hows the timbre versus the original s12?
I don’t believe I’ve tried the original s12. I think I tried the pro and the z12. The s12 2024 feels better than. The z12
If you want to compare them there are sound demo of both of these on TH-cam . Just type " s12 sound demo " and you will find both , me personally I like s12 pro tuning way better then s12 ....
Worth the extra 50 over the supermix 4?
Depends how tight budget is. I prefer this more
So are they the same shape as the original? Just different material?

Hey man, if its not too much to ask, can you make a Valorant and CS IEM tier list for your next video?
Yo Fresh, I’m in the market for some gaming IEMs since my Cloud 2s died. I noticed you rated both the Sonus and EW200 as B- to C+. Which one would you recommend for Valorant? They’re both priced about the same right now.
How does this compare to the Yanyin Canon 2?
You can see the rating difference in description.
