The Blue bricks are *very* different from the orange bricks. Really the only things they have in common are their menu layouts and packaging. They don’t even share the same aspect ratio and the colors are significantly better with the blue bricks.
I have always admire dbz fans who own the series multiple times and you even have the japanese dragon box, great video and I am also glad that super exists.
Grain removal, heavily zoomed in compared to the Japanese Dragon Boxes of OG Dragon Ball, lack of previews, lack of Japanese titlecards, so on and so forth. The Saga Sets are literally better versions of the Blue Bricks.
The main downside and caveat to the saga sets is the first thirteen episodes are not available uncut and bilingual in that format here, this is due to red tape with a sublicense for the edited versions of those episodes along with DB movie one that had previously been given to Kidmark/Trimark (later Lionsgsate) back in the mid '90s when FUNimation was just starting up as a company which they held onto for over a decade until 2009 when the season sets came out. The only way you could get the first arc prior to that point was by importing the R4 release from Australia, which of course you'd need a region free DVD player or compatible PC drive to play.
I will agree that Super doesn't have the flair that Z had, but at least it's more DB content for us fans. Sure, the character development is not the best but I would love to have a continuation than ending it.
"Ghosting" That's interlacing, the Single Sets have a 3:2 pulldown, so if you put it in a DVD player, it automatically de-interlaces it so that problem is fixed. The Single Sets are great overall.
@@ChaosmasterZ13 I found the audio sets for episodes 53-95 that already had the Yamamoto scores and episodes 96-98 had the customize Yamamoto scores placed in different spots which the people did a great job doing that if you want the audio I can give you the link to it
I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with my Dragon Ball Z merchandise collection until it's complete, so far, I only got a few of them. So maybe if I collect a few hundred dollars, I might be able to afford the biggest connection Dragon Ball Z DVDs.

It's more heavily criticized now than GT ever was. Not to mention that it's not even a continuation and the timeline is all messed up. The first 2 arcs are rehashes of the first movie, 2 mediocre movies that were made worse in Super and barely added any substance but wasted potential. The U6 arc was boring, and brought in way for a pointless arc later on. The Goku Black Arc was good up till the beginning and then slowly came crashing down in the end. The T.O.P arc was predictable, pointless, and downright bad, possibly being now one of the worst arcs in DB with some good moments here and there. Super lacked so much consistency and continuity that it made GT look like a masterpiece. I can give you so many more reasons why GT is now better than Super if you want.

They are all out of print however you can still find them and its not too difficult. Harder if you want them brand new. The biggest issue is the reprinted parts 1-4 which don't have the Yamamoto score :/
