Congratulations. Being in year 12 has allowed me to actually appreciate what I have accomplished. Being motivated to do well, I had the mindset of never actually being proud of my results. For example, achieving 85 was more desirable than achieving 80, and so on. So with that, it's important that we take what we receive and move forward. As a result, look at your result with a new perspective, and keep in mind that it is not a bad result by any means. You achieved something exceptional this year that was beyond the scope of what was expected. Well done 👍
DARLING! I got an ENTER (10 years ago) of 69.95 (lol) and bawled my eyes out. It was horrible. HOWEVER - I am now 28 years old and a proud Kindergarten teacher going back to study online the course of my dreams which is Primary Teaching in March! I studied a course after school which I hated - BUT I am proof that your score doesnt define your course or who you are - and there are always pathways! You are amazing! MCK CLASS OF 2010 ;)

An old, falling apart Year 12 centre, different teaching styles (no laptops etc), BUT teachers are similar, classes are similar and the atmosphere of Mckinnon is still amazing. Pitsa B does NOT age and is literally ageing backwards! She is incredible and always was! Ahhhh so proud of you for getting into Monash! Can't wait for the Uni vlogs! I'm sure your teachers will advise you, but you have a very good chance of getting into your course - especially in a pandemic year. Also your score is a really fabulous one. However, it is also totally normal to feel disheartened. As a current teacher, who originally studied journalism I can vouch that careers and your idea of them change. I also was in a course with people who received ATARs from 78-99 (clearly in waa 95). Good luck, I'm sure you will be successful.

An 80 above is so good! I finished my first yr 12 subject as a year 10 and got a study score of 30, but it scaled down to 28 so like.... It's okay haha! You did so well, I'm proud!

Girl, I had the exact same reaction! I got an 80.40 and I was hoping for an 85 to safely get into the course I wanted. (Which is a double degree in nursing and midwifery). I was happy with my score, but felt like I could have gotten a little higher. It’s important to look at the positives and if you applied for seas your atar will be boosted which can help you get into the course you’re looking for. I wish ya the best of luck! 😁

Dude it’s fine ur atar is bloody good I got a 52.75 but then again I didn’t really study. But I got into the course I want so, as long as u get into ur course it should be good.
I graduated in 2016, and dropped a subject in yr 12 and didn’t even get an ATAR just my SACE (Adelaide) and I went to tafe the year after graduation and then dropped out. Now I’m working in something completely different and didn’t expect to be where I am back 5 years ago

She did end up at Swinbourne film and TV her first preference in her second round offer I believe as you can see her video about uni vlog, and I'm sure u'll have a chance too, hope it all works out:)
@@bluewateroad it's in VTAC they usually offers 1 offer per round eg. 1st round came in Jan second round came in Feb...etc is usually 1 offer of university preference of the choice from your highest list. It's a bit hard to explain, hope you get it.
It's ok maskit you did your best anyways don't care about it too much even tho that's impossible like who am I ,I am an 8th grader and if I don't get the note that I want on my report card I cry ,so who am I to tell that but I think you can go through it and anyways try to get into the university that you wanted maybe they will take because your score was so close to 83 so don't worry God will give you other opportunities so don't worry. work hard love you so so much wish you th3 best of luck in your futur plans 😄😘

She did end up at Swinbourne film and TV her first preference in her second round offer I believe as you can see her video about uni vlog, and I'm sure u'll have a chance too, hope it all works out:)

@@bluewateroad it's in VTAC they usually offers 1 offer per round eg. 1st round came in Jan second round came in Feb...etc is usually 1 offer of university preference of the choice from your highest list. It's a bit hard to explain, hope you get it.
