    Learn More About Indicator #5 I Talked About HERE (claytrader.com/videos/why-i-s...)
    Learning how to trade can be very overwhelming due to all the varying sources of information online. Whether you are learning how to be a day trader or wanting to become a swing trader, there is an abundance of information available to you. In my experience being a trader and helping new traders, what I've noticed is the best thing to do is take a step back and focus on keeping the strategy simple. You can quickly suffer from paralysis by analysis if you use too much information, so I would recommend you get started with only five technical indicators. By using these five indicators within your day trading (or swing trading), you will force yourself to begin to learn how to trade in a more efficient manner. Many of the most successful traders I know use these five technical indicators within their strategy and I believe when you are new and just getting started trading, you should also use them.

    Been trading for three weeks... in my life. Made $274 so far. During a pandemic and a severely volatile market, I’d say that’s not the worst (I mean the worst is losing money and I haven’t done that yet thankfully), but I’m happy with it considering I have only a marginal understanding of how it works. Here to learn more. Thank you! Liked and subscribed.

    Hi clay, thank you for all your content. I have a question. Is there a indicator that shows percentage change on a selected time that I want. I been watching the market as soon as it opens and it either goes high or low and by around 7-7:15 you get an idea on how a stock will go. But if I’m looking at the percentage change, it dosent help cus it could had a big or low gain at first but it’s not representing on what is really happening. Thank you

    I suck as a "trader." I read Welles Wilder (probably before you were born! lol). I am amazed at how the entire TA subculture uses his stuff over and over and over again. So much of being successful is just figuring out what your emotional predisposition is re: how you move money in and out of a position. I have only "really" made money by getting well positioned and then sitting on my hands. I trade in and out because of the bells and whistles and buzzers. I know this about myself, and yet still find myself "looking" to find applications that will fit me.
    This was a very good video. I am going back to basics, and your honesty is refreshing.

    Clay I have a question about Webull, and I guess about day trading in general. Is it true that PDT rules only apply if you’re trading on a margin below $25000? In other words, if you’re trading a cash account for less that $25000 the normal PDT rules don’t apply and you can make as many day trades as you want?

    • @claytrader
      @claytrader  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @oyecisco
      @oyecisco 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@claytrader Agreed, but I've found that one of the self-imposed rules that I use to keep myself from "going nuts" on this stuff is: Trade with settled cash only!!! ClayTrader, I have a question regarding your university. If I buy the 497.00 plan, I don't have to make the other 5 payments unless I am ready to? For example, after 6 months, I can choose to buy another portion of the university with no interest or penalties? Also if I do buy all of it, will I automatically gain access to the lifetime membership perks?

    Hey clay hope your doing well. i am new to daytrading and currently investing most of the money into penny stocks. as i only have around 860 to start i thought it would be best to put all my chips in one stock as i feel like the more stocks I am in the less chance i have of making a big play in the near future. I am young and can afford to risk at this current time, just wondering what you thought of my plan. currently learning to be patient as I have not been thus far and lost around 150 after 2 months in

    MUST = Squeeze indicator (there are many different types....I like pricepoint or breakout or volume)(NOT to be confused with normal volume indicator)
    Squeeze does not need to be a total strategy but more of a data point to help make decisions on entries and exits. All indicators are simply to help as a data point.
    I would also add that when trading futures be very careful before 10:30AM or 11AM because historically the big dips or circuit breaker dips are before 10:30 AM.
