The goal of the game is to put the ball in the hole. Theres no such thing as a gimme touchdown, home-run, or goal. Only in golf can a guy not accomplish the goal of the game and say that that they did a good job.

This is why I don't like when guys say they are a such and such handicap when they play with gimmies. Play for fun or play for fun and score. You gotta make the 3 footer to mark a par on the card.
