- Dale Moss is shedding more light on his split from “Bachelorette” Clare Crawley. The former NFL athlete took to his Instagram Story to address the drama surrounding his and his former fiancée's recent breakup. “People will want to spread lies or always point the finger, but the fact of the matter is, there's no one person to blame in this situation. And, like every relationship, we've had our ups and downs and have gone through our things. But the statement that came out? This didn't come out of nowhere,” he said in part, referring to his initial breakup statement, which Clare had claimed she wasn’t made aware of ahead of time.

So true. Like Tayshia and Zack. She’s probably one of the best bachelorettes in my opinion and gave everyone a fair chance. Zack was different from the rest of the group. Older, not the most handsome (though still very good looking), divorced, addiction issues. Many women may think they deserve someone better than that but tayshia realized his strength and maturity in the things he went through. He changed and still deserves a fair chance as everyone else. I hate that everyone is saying Dale used Claire. used her for what? SHE chose to end the show 2 weeks in, he chose to engage. These are called consequences. no one person is to blame, they both rushed this. but as the Lead of the show more fault falls on her for how she dismissed and ignored the other men who could have been more suited for her, and she chose to forgo actually getting to know Dale on a deeper level and allowing him the same with her.
Are you really asking what he used her for? How about fame, clout, to promote his clothing brand, get his name and face out there for jobs, to be known. Need I go on?
Don't agree. He said he was asked by the Bachelorette franchise several times before and turn it down. So he could have gotten his fame then. He only became interested when he heard it was clare. Clare and Dale were rushed by the producers due to her behavior and treatment of the other guys on the show. she was only interested in Dale, Dale..... no one else. So for that she has to take most of the blame.

She was ‘blindsided’ by the statement, not the breakup. When two people break up and one of them wants to say it out loud, they have the right to do so.
Agree, she's trying to manipulate people and play the victim. I think the reason she didn't want him giving a statement is because she didn't want it to be over. I'm sure she was begging him not to end it. Making it public makes it official.
The truth is that Clare wants a guy EXACTLY like her father (the way her father treated HER, not the way he actually was as a husband). That is something very immature to expect from any guys. I believe had they communicated better so they could try to get to where they were on the same page it could've been different. Relationships take sacrifice from both people but Dale was so quick to throw it all away, which tells me he wasn't in it for the right reasons. He knew how overly sensitive she was. I feel for her.

Clare was clingey, anxious, and controlling. She probably gaslighted Dale whenever they got in arguments due to her own insecurites and inability to own up to her own weaknesses in the relationship. Dale was focusing on his career. Under the stresss of their relationship, he ended up being unfaithful. Dale feelimg bad about it, broke it off. Thats prob what happened. Guaranteed. Dale shouldn't have rushed to tell the world about their split. He should have consulted Clare no matter what. I'm sure they both made their mistakes and learned valuable lessons but...a public break up like that is a NO-NO to Dale. That is why I unfollowed him.
Usually when couples in the public eye end a relationship they tend to make a joint statement or similar statements at the same time or within a short period of time. Dale's actions make me believe that he had malicious intent and that Clare was blindsided. I think that Dale essentially broke up with Clare over social media which is elementary and cowardly behavior.

After being pushed by her and the show into rushing the whole relationship and him not having the spine to say NO, it's not surprising that he announced their split publicly. They've already been broken up for weeks, which is why there were rumors about it. She wasn't ready to announce anything yet and he patiently waited for her to be ready. However, she had no plans to announce their split bc she was orchestrating them getting back together. Obviously a break-up would make her a laughing stock, so she needed to save face after ruining her season bc of her blind lust. She's fairly pushy & manipulative, so I'm sure he realized that his best chance at not falling into anymore forced traps is that he needed to publicize the split, so that there was no door left open to drag him back into the relationship.
Their breakup is ALL Claire's fault. She's obviously desperate and pushes things. She has a track record of men "not showing up"...we see why. Her behaviour is entirely too much. You could see the beginning of the end the instant she proclaimed her love for him...after what?? No time at all???

I saw this coming since the show. They are both great people, but, it was clear to me, that Claire is not ready for relationship even though she thinks she is. C'mon what's SO wrong about Dale leaving Clare, I AM SO GLAD HE DID, we all said saw it coming, Clare fell head over hills in love with some she DID NOT know and confessed all her love to him at the dinner table and Dale said NOTHING about love to her she lied when Chris asked her if he loves her too, saying "I feel the same" doesn't mean I love u and that's what he said at the dinner table. He might have blindsided her with the breakup but even if it was only with the statement he probably put that out so he could openly date and continue sleeping with other women because I heard he was cheating on her constantly which is awful and really sad I do think Claire rushed in too fast with him and disrespected the show by not giving any of the other men a chance and at this stage in the game and I'm not referring to just her age but the fact that she's been on The bachelor franchise several times should have gave her the foresight to know to wait and take time to get to know the men individually as much as possible if you look at the bachelor in the sense of the opportunity to get to know many different people at one time frame it really gives you a lot of options to find the person that could be the best match for you at least in that group it doesn't guarantee that you'll be married and half fully Ever After but I think if you take the process seriously you could find at least the meaningful relationship as long as those people are in it for the right reasons and you are truly compatible and she knew they put in all this work for her especially considering the pandemic happened and they pulled together so many resources and so much time and money and effort was spent on her and the mission of finding her a potential husband so she should never be allowed back to be The bachelorette in my opinion many people say they weren't surprised by this because it seemed like deals was forced to propose and when they spoke afterwards she wanted babies right away and he said slow Down and sometimes the age range for a man being younger is not good because at that particular stage he can wait and obviously wanted to wait before he got married and had children and unfortunately for us women we have a clock ticking but you have to find a man who knows and is showing you that he wants to settle down with you 100% so I hope she takes time to herself and then really takes away the lessons from the mistake she's made and any red flags that she saw and take note of them from Dale and the past so she can recognize them if they pop up again in future relationships so she doesn't even continue on with someone who's wrong or even pick them
We are yet to have strong evidence that Dale was constantly cheating on her. He was a model and had a group of models he hanged out with. The woman he was linked with an his previous girlfriend all made statements that is not that type of person he is. I believe due to her insecurities that was a narrative that was spread among people in her camp. She felt he should have cut ties with everybody and only focus on her and he probably was not prepared to do so. Which she probably interpreted as cheating or wanting to cheat. She has a Narcissist personality. I know she will try her best to gas light him to save face.
Oh, my God- the fact that he released a "mutual statement" without her knowledge or consent was bad enough- but the number of press interviews this guy has made since this relationship ended a week ago is a clear indication of where his priorities have been all along. It's been an interview almost every day- to every possible news outlet. The more he talks, the more it becomes clear- his potential "career" was his focus and why he got on the show in the first place. Dale- truly- go away. Please go away. I’m very disappointed and disgusted by the comments of people blaming Claire or saying she’s too much too handle or that she’s immature because she wants a man like her father, but you know what? That’s Clare! And dale knew who Clare was before he went on the show! He had more time than any other contestant to look into her and her history! And you know what? Clare may be dramatic sometimes but she knows what she wants and when she loves you she really loves you, she’s the type of person you want on your side because she will ride for you like no other, BUT she will probably expect you to do the same and there’s NOTHING wrong with that! She said that during the interview with Chris: There's no rush, it could be 1 day, 2 days,, 2 weeks or 2 years and they could go to the courthouse and get married and HE said wherever WE ARE TOGETHER that's unconditional love.
