From the X-Verse timeline standpoint, I think it will be 5 years after DP 2 due to a line that is supposedly in the movie where he jokes that "5 years ago, you'd all be dead", so it's 5 years after he used Cable's device to save them. 2. From an MCU standpoint, I suspect it is after Loki Season 2 (and What if Season 2) since I believe that the TVA in the movie is able to view Loki's tree and that's what they are showing to Deadpool on the monitors.

My timeline is based just as much on what order to watch all the movies, shows, shorts, etc. as the in-universe chronological dates/events (and even when to read the book Ant Man wrote). I had the X-Men stuff in this order: _First Class, Origins Wolverine, X-Men Animated Series, X-Men ‘97, X-Men, X2, The Last Stand, The Wolverine, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Deadpool, The New Mutants, Logan,_ and _Deadpool 2_ and set them all in one chunk between _What If..._ S1 and _WandaVision._ Who knows what and how much of all of that may change with _Deadpool and Wolverine_ being released.
Yeah, I hope it really leans into the horror aspects. Werewolf by Night was a perfect mix of horror, suspense and comedy. Fingers crossed Agatha gives us more of the same!

As much as I don’t think this show was totally necessary I am still looking forward to it. For a few reasons, number one I want more of the supernatural side if marvel to be explored and number two I love horror and Halloween vibes. I’m willing to give this show a chance and not write it off. Also I love how you are always positive and looking on the bright side I envy that kind of optimism.

This show may not have been necessary and probably wouldn't even be greenlit using the new policies Marvel has for content, but it looks like it could be a fun show and any excuse to delve into horror and Halloween is a good day! Honestly, i'm excited for Agatha, I've always loved Halloween shows and this one looks good. Off topic but in the most recent Deadpool and Wolverine 30 sec teaser trailer, you can actually see that the sling ring portal actually appears to go to a city that looks kinda similar to New York.

This trailer was kind of trippy and vague, so I'm glad you could make some sense of it, but I guess I'm also glad we can't figure everything out yet. Gives us some surprises to look forward to. All that said, I will laugh so hard though if that guy is the beekeeper. Joof finally gets his beekeeper.

OMG I'm so excited for this show, finally the "magic lore" of Marvel it's getting presence because I love it so much. I think that Wanda are going to be the "Mephisto" in this series 😂 And obviously I want to see her but I don't think that the whole series would revolve around her, but obviously it would have her presence. And personally I would love Joe Locke to be Wiccan, I think that he fits so well in the character and obviously I want him in the Young Avengers 🎉 I'm thrilled about the Comic Con, why they released this trailer? And I see rumors about the Captain America trailer too, I wonder about what are they planning

13:14 First before what I want to say. I have to say Im blown away by how much info you were able to gather on this series. Awesome job. You continue to really bring some heat. For the time marker I heard you say that the diseased tree scene seemed like the fantasy. But I think you may have already gone back on that statement regardless. Just wanted to point out some themes that would lead us to the contrary. The nice looking witches road should be the fantasy and the bad one the reality. Especially given stories such as hansel and gretel. The candy house has a mischevious and evil purpose. which is the reality and the candy part of the veil of reality for the children. Plus in M.O.M. Wandas garden is a fantasy and the reality is shes infected the land and trees diseasing them. Which she shows to strange. On another note I was hoping to pick your brain a little on list of resources to make videos. I feel silly asking but have no experience beyond avid commentator whos hobbies are exploring the depths of existential knowledge. Video making not yet included. So far out of all the content creators I love the way You and Tay from KindaCulty edit your content.
That's a great point that the fantasy being the nice looking road and reality is the dismal looking road. I think you're on to something there. Nice call! As for the videos, I agree Tay does a great job as well. Not sure what he uses, but I'm a pretty simple guy, so I use Powerpoint to create the images, but I did have to change a browser setting to get screen caps from things like D+, Netflix, etc. I don't recall the setting, but you could probably google it. I then convert to PDF so I can record with OBS on my laptop with a nice quality mic (nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done). Then, if needed, I edit with MS Clipchamp, since it came free with windows (free is good). Hope that helps. Best of luck in creating your own vids. It's alot of fun!
Did you see Joe Locke's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live (interviewed by Kathryn Hahn) from Wednesday? They included a trimmed down version of the trailer, but it includes a tiny new bit of new dialogue from Joe. When Kathryn says "I'm gonna walk the Witches' Road" it then skips to her saying "join me," but then Joe responds with the new line "The road will give you the thing you want the most... if you make it to the end." So it sounds like the Witches' Road is being set up like the Book of Vishanti and Eternity, in that it's a sort of wish granting device (or at least the characters believe it to be one)

I’m guessing the multiple dates on the library slip are previous witches who used the Darkhold and died. Since the Darkhold has since been destroyed in every universe, Agatha will recruit her own coven to either resurrect those witches for more power or take on some other evil that the Darkhold protected.
I have so many unpopular opinions that make me even more surprised about how excited I am for this show: I didn’t like wandavision that much, it was fine but nothing amazing imo I absolutely don’t care for horror movies or tv shows And I really really didn’t care for Agatha, I found her too cheesy, not very threatening and a bad mirror character of Wanda. Yet someway somehow this looks amazing to me. I absolutely love it, and I can’t wait to see it. I really didn’t think I’d care for this but now that I’m seeing it I love the tone and style of it, it’s really unique and consistent and overall looks great. I do totally think that’s Billy at least it sure looks like it, and I hope we see Wanda somewhere in here. It’s too early to say much more but this looks awesome, even for me who hypothetically should hate this show based on its elements, but somehow it works

Then the last scene with backward crawling, that was from a horror movie too, Exorcist like you said. I heard Feb 16 is Lizzie Olsen's birthday, btw. And one other is Stan Lee's (from NewRockstar). The black dress women may be the Salem Seven.
After the Events of “Multiverse of Madness”: it seems Marvel really didn’t know what to do with Wanda’s Character lingering around The MCU after what she’s done and considering she’s STILL pretty much the most powerful character in the MCU .. they have sort of a “Pause” button on her Character now. This Spin-off may (hopefully) lay more groundwork for MCU Witchcraft, More exposition on the DarkHold (perhaps the True Author) What will it mean for every other witch in the MCU if “The Scarlet Witch” (A Myth in the Flesh) has now “Died”, Does “The Scarlet Witch” die like every other Witch? WANDAVISION was the First Marvel Disney+ show to Debut, considering it’s the most critically awarded Marvel Show out of them all and the Viral “Agatha All Along” Theme Song in 2021 … This was obviously a smart business decision.

I agree 100% that I think the Book of Cagliostro has something to do with the witch's long life span. I really hope they make that connection. The series has gotten me pretty excited after this trailer!
Well the version we see of Wiccan, is from the younger ones soul wandering around Westwood when the hex was broken and he found the older ones body after a car accident and Billy has been living that life ever since. The Salem Seven are all women except for one. One of the witches they’re keeping her identity a secret, but I believe she’s Cynthia Von Doom. The next Dr. Strange movie will be a rendition of the Triumph and Torment where they went to get Doom’s mom soul back from Mephisto.

I only just now noticed she is very much still in Westview, somehow I missed that. Ooo, Billy Maximoff is a very good idea and probably is the case. Speaking of the Witch's Road, that tells me that supposed show/special is being folded into this show. So maybe we'll get an appearance by Wanda? I had no idea about the comic connections for the Lilia character that is very cool. Didn't catch the broom flying that is very cool also. In fact if there is one thing I can say it's this show is going to look very cool visually at least. I do think perhaps the shots with Rio might be flashbacks because I believe she was listed as playing Agatha's ex or something? So could be how they met. I definitely think we need flashbacks pre-West View for sure. I've heard Billy's outfit near the end is based off one of his WandaVision outfits but not sure.
Yeah, they definitely went a different direction from WandaVision and I am so down for it! That was the right call, so that it doesn't seem like the next season of WV but is an entirely new show instead!

Before it was like brady bunch, partridge family and the beetles. Agathas series feels more like the exorcist, poltergeist and black sabbath. To some degree If Billy and Tommy truly were devil spawn in the wandavision series as evan peters quick silver suggested. Then perhaps Evan Peters quicksilver is truly Wandas brother. She manifested Vision and her kids almost subconsciously through her magic. Is it possible the name Ralph Boner was a misdirect? Could this mean the 616 was a post house of M? In which Aaron Taylor Johnsons quicksilver was actually the rewrite?

And your theories on Billy and Tommy sound very interesting. There's no doubt about it, Jane Doe is a dead Wanda Maximoff. The real question is how did she get there.? The trailer was a little confusing, as it didn't focus on anything and, I would have been happier if the trailer had just stopped with Detective Agatha in the mortuary. I going back to watch WandaVision as I'm certain that Wanda and Vision came out of the library in the Brady Bunch episode opening scene.

I agree...if that detective scene is all in her head, then the show is likely going to be closer to WandaVision. However, I do think it helps explain why we haven't seen Agatha or Wanda if the show is later in the timeline. So I could see it falling either way, tbh. Very curious to see where it lands when it drops on D+!

As for Locke, I do think he's playing a familiar for sure...but that's an interesting thought that the Billy inferences are a misdirect. You could be right on that!
I must say that, while I think this show was probably unnecessary, the trailer got me interested. I like horror and the likes and I'm interested in seeing how they can move forward the dark side of the MCU. I still don't get why Wanda's son is here though.

I had almost no interest in this show from its announcement to all the various changes of the name and everything, and I can't say this show is going to be good, Secret Invasion was supposed to be good, but it certainly looks like it's going to be doing a lot of things we haven't always gotten in the MCU. Hard pass on this show. This is a perfect example of Marvel Bloat. If this came out WAY sooner after Wandavision it could have been interesting but Marvel has gotten more bloated since then and we don't need these side shows about minor characters. Effort should be devoted to bigger projects like bringing X-men into the marvel universe. Focus on core Avengers and actual characters that will matter way more.
Yeah, I suspect you aren't alone in feeling that way. It's a bummer they didn't get the show out faster. That said, it looks like a fun show, so I'm down for it. But I really appreciate your honesty about it. Totally fair take on the show.

I agree...the trailer did it's job and I'll very interested to see it now!
As much as I don’t think this show was totally necessary I am still looking forward to it. For a few reasons, number one I want more of the supernatural side if marvel to be explored and number two I love horror and Halloween vibes. I’m willing to give this show a chance and not write it off. Also I love how you are always positive and looking on the bright side I envy that kind of optimism.
You summed it up very well. This show may not have been necessary and probably wouldn't even be greenlit using the new policies Marvel has for content, but it looks like it could be a fun show and any excuse to delve into horror and Halloween is a good day! Honestly, i'm excited for Agatha, I've always loved Halloween shows and this one looks good. Off topic but in the most recent Deadpool and Wolverine 30 sec teaser trailer, you can actually see that the sling ring portal actually appears to go to a city that looks kinda similar to New York.

This trailer was kind of trippy and vague, so I'm glad you could make some sense of it, but I guess I'm also glad we can't figure everything out yet. Gives us some surprises to look forward to.

OMG I'm so excited for this show, finally the "magic lore" of Marvel it's getting presence because I love it so much. I think that Wanda are going to be the "Mephisto" in this series 😂 And obviously I want to see her but I don't think that the whole series would revolve around her, but obviously it would have her presence. And personally I would love Joe Locke to be Wiccan, I think that he fits so well in the character and obviously I want him in the Young Avengers 🎉 I'm thrilled about the Comic Con, why they released this trailer? And I see rumors about the Captain America trailer too, I wonder about what are they planning

For the time marker I heard you say that the diseased tree scene seemed like the fantasy. But I think you may have already gone back on that statement regardless. Just wanted to point out some themes that would lead us to the contrary. The nice looking witches road should be the fantasy and the bad one the reality. Especially given stories such as hansel and gretel. The candy house has a mischevious and evil purpose. which is the reality and the candy part of the veil of reality for the children. Plus in M.O.M. Wandas garden is a fantasy and the reality is shes infected the land and trees diseasing them. Which she shows to strange.
On another note I was hoping to pick your brain a little on list of resources to make videos. I feel silly asking but have no experience beyond avid commentator whos hobbies are exploring the depths of existential knowledge. Video making not yet included. So far out of all the content creators I love the way You and Tay from KindaCulty edit your content.
That's a great point that the fantasy being the nice looking road and reality is the dismal looking road. I think you're on to something there. Nice call!
As for the videos, I agree Tay does a great job as well. Not sure what he uses, but I'm a pretty simple guy, so I use Powerpoint to create the images, but I did have to change a browser setting to get screen caps from things like D+, Netflix, etc. I don't recall the setting, but you could probably google it. I then convert to PDF so I can record with OBS on my laptop with a nice quality mic (nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done). Then, if needed, I edit with MS Clipchamp, since it came free with windows (free is good). Hope that helps. Best of luck in creating your own vids. It's alot of fun!
Did you see Joe Locke's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live (interviewed by Kathryn Hahn) from Wednesday? They included a trimmed down version of the trailer, but it includes a tiny new bit of new dialogue from Joe. When Kathryn says "I'm gonna walk the Witches' Road" it then skips to her saying "join me," but then Joe responds with the new line "The road will give you the thing you want the most... if you make it to the end."
So it sounds like the Witches' Road is being set up like the Book of Vishanti and Eternity, in that it's a sort of wish granting device (or at least the characters believe it to be one)

I’m guessing the multiple dates on the library slip are previous witches who used the Darkhold and died. Since the Darkhold has since been destroyed in every universe, Agatha will recruit her own coven to either resurrect those witches for more power or take on some other evil that the Darkhold protected.

I have so many unpopular opinions that make me even more surprised about how excited I am for this show:
I didn’t like wandavision that much, it was fine but nothing amazing imo
I absolutely don’t care for horror movies or tv shows
And I really really didn’t care for Agatha, I found her too cheesy, not very threatening and a bad mirror character of Wanda.
Yet someway somehow this looks amazing to me. I absolutely love it, and I can’t wait to see it. I really didn’t think I’d care for this but now that I’m seeing it I love the tone and style of it, it’s really unique and consistent and overall looks great. I do totally think that’s Billy at least it sure looks like it, and I hope we see Wanda somewhere in here. It’s too early to say much more but this looks awesome, even for me who hypothetically should hate this show based on its elements, but somehow it works

After the Events of “Multiverse of Madness”: it seems Marvel really didn’t know what to do with Wanda’s Character lingering around The MCU after what she’s done and considering she’s STILL pretty much the most powerful character in the MCU .. they have sort of a “Pause” button on her Character now.

Well the version we see of Wiccan, is from the younger ones soul wandering around Westwood when the hex was broken and he found the older ones body after a car accident and Billy has been living that life ever since. The Salem Seven are all women except for one. One of the witches they’re keeping her identity a secret, but I believe she’s Cynthia Von Doom. The next Dr. Strange movie will be a rendition of the Triumph and Torment where they went to get Doom’s mom soul back from Mephisto.

I only just now noticed she is very much still in Westview, somehow I missed that. Ooo, Billy Maximoff is a very good idea and probably is the case. Speaking of the Witch's Road, that tells me that supposed show/special is being folded into this show. So maybe we'll get an appearance by Wanda? I had no idea about the comic connections for the Lilia character that is very cool. Didn't catch the broom flying that is very cool also. In fact if there is one thing I can say it's this show is going to look very cool visually at least. I do think perhaps the shots with Rio might be flashbacks because I believe she was listed as playing Agatha's ex or something? So could be how they met. I definitely think we need flashbacks pre-West View for sure. I've heard Billy's outfit near the end is based off one of his WandaVision outfits but not sure.

This seems like the flipside of the 70s we got in wandavision. Before it was like brady bunch, partridge family and the beetles.
Agathas series feels more like the exorcist, poltergeist and black sabbath.
To some degree If Billy and Tommy truly were devil spawn in the wandavision series as evan peters quick silver suggested. Then perhaps Evan Peters quicksilver is truly Wandas brother. She manifested Vision and her kids almost subconsciously through her magic. Is it possible the name Ralph Boner was a misdirect? Could this mean the 616 was a post house of M? In which Aaron Taylor Johnsons quicksilver was actually the rewrite?
Good analogy...this show does seem like the flipside of the way Wandavision viewed the various decades. I'm totally down with homages to some of the best horror classics. And your theories on Billy and Tommy sound very interesting. The trailer was a little confusing, as it didn't focus on anything and, I would have been happier if the trailer had just stopped with Detective Agatha in the mortuary.

I agree...if that detective scene is all in her head, then the show is likely going to be closer to WandaVision. However, I do think it helps explain why we haven't seen Agatha or Wanda if the show is later in the timeline. So I could see it falling either way, tbh. I had almost no interest in this show from its announcement to all the various changes of the name and everything, and I can't say this show is going to be good, Secret Invasion was supposed to be good, but it certainly looks like it's going to be doing a lot of things we haven't always gotten in the MCU. I'm at the very least interested.

Hard pass on this show. This is a perfect example of Marvel Bloat.
If this came out WAY sooner after Wandavision it could have been interesting but Marvel has gotten more bloated since then and we don't need these side shows about minor characters.
Effort should be devoted to bigger projects like bringing X-men into the marvel universe. Focus on core Avengers and actual characters that will matter way more.
