Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts - LOGS LOST CHALLENGES! | PART 24

- Today we tackle ALL of the DLC content for this game (okay technically not the brief multiplayer additions, those will be in the multiplayer episode but still) and also my voice hurts.

Here's what I did to make Mr. Fit's challenges a lot easier;
In the L.O.G's choice, get the ball in the tray, then edit the vehicle to create a little cage around the ball, using the wheels and poles to do so. It means you can drop as fast as you want and the ball will stay put.
For player's choice, you need to be much faster. So make a vehicle that is a large box, with 4 small jets pointing up and 2 large jets pointing forward. Then, out of blocks (preferably super), make a 10x9 sheet, and have 2 arms going down, which are 10 blocks long, but just have this affixed onto the side of the tray.
Fly over to the ball, place it in the tray, then edit the vehicle, placing the super-block object on top of the box like a hat (it is easier to select everything then deselect the box). This will stop the ball falling out, and allow you to go quite fast. I found it was more reliable than using a sticky ball, as that trails behind you.

ok, gotta get this off my chest. why is Grunty so incredibly hot on the art you get for completing the dlc/Klungo game border? I'm not complaining, mind you, I'm just puzzled because throughout all of Banjo Kazooie, we're told that she is the most disgusting witch in the world, and just seeing her with that body doesn't make sense! unless she found Tootie, and decided to grow her hair out. and get a nice cape. and better clothes.

The reason Grunty looks hot in that pic is because of the artist Jollyjack being the one who drew the art. Jollyjack makes some really good art, and the dood was a Rare employee during the production of BK: N&B.
They said there wasn't enough platforming... so we gave them more Klungo's Arcade!!

I think the main reason people don't like this game is that the world is basically completely empty. You're not there to explore anything like in the previous titles, you kinda just run around from mission to mission and then do the missions that restrict you to certain parts of the maps. World design in general is just way below the standards of a Banjo-Kazooie game. It's basically just a checklist compared to intricate design
and you still get the fruit back!!!!!

In Klungo's arcade 2, there's a secret where you just walk through a wall and into a secret area. The achievement for it is called "Old Ssskool Ssseekrit Area", or something. I need to check, but I guess I'll let you find it without any spoilers.

How do you mix up Gymkhana with dressage, the actual event that happened during Humba Wumba's mission there? Seems Rare needed a bit more research when planning the DLC.
I mean, if you pick hairs you are in a car, so Gymkhana masquerading as Dressage.
I reckon @ 36:58 if you just keep on running you will fall down onto the K thing (you can see the floor keeps on going into the wall like it does on 2D mario games, hope that makes sense :D)
Edit: Oh you did exactly what I was talking about later on (@43:29). So yeah just do that on the earlier level and you will probably get it.

scykoh once i was playing klungos arcade and i was at the end of the stage i won the stage then the klungos game crashed so i had to redo the entire stage again!!!!!!

Pluto should have been a planet to save. Why? Because Pluto was a planet during BK and BT, so as a DLC and Stop and Swap, Pluto should have been in the game as a reference to that timeframe.

that's so cool, i didn't know that! typically with rereleases of games like that the dlc is packaged in, but i wasn't aware that Nut and Bolts was one of those games, that's so awesome. even more reason to love this game, and also even more reason that Rare Replay is amazing!!!

Both Uranus and Neptune are blue, and Neptune is slightly deeper blue than Uranus (which is a bit more grayish). Both you and the game were wrong. C:
