I like the part where the Amtrak Autumn Express goes over the Cheapside Railroad Bridge in Deerfield/Greenfield. On another subject you should film a video of the Amtrak Vermonter on the Connecticut River Line between Springfield and East Northfield.
Have you ever thought about 2 things: 1. Getting a drone, I think the vids would be spectacular, and 2. Going to Berkshire county more often? Just some things to think about
Its funny you mention that, i have been wanting to get a drone for a few months now. But chasing this train with a drone thru the Berkshires would be pretty awesome!
Is this a special train ? I either heard or read somewhere that passenger traffic through the Hoosac tunnel was stropped in the late 80's. I'm probably wrong though. I'd love to go for a ride in that tunnel.
@@berkshiresubrailfan I just found out last year about NS 23K and 22K I had no idea either that NS ran in MA, them are the only ones that run through MA besides NS 16R

I was on that Sat. train. It ran Sat. & Sun. A special "Leaf Peeping" train. Don't think it's been back since..
At 6:38 in the video I went to look away and I heard " hey Judy" I looked back as if to say "what" lol - signs are everywhere. Great video

There isn’t passenger traffics through the tunnel. Though there is talk of extending the Amtrak route from Greenfield MA to Mechanicville NY.
