The reason why the author never gave this fight an ending was because he doesnt want either one to lose, due to the fact that 1. The author is a Japanese supremacist so making mushashi lose wouldn't be something he'd do 2. Making yujiro lose would under value his strength and would set a bar on how high strength wise the series would go

Musashi is him af omg. Imagine being under that amount of pain, and still being able to focus at the fight itself. He stayed still for a bit after the kick, but he stood up quicker than I think ANYONE else would have. Holy moly.
