Lm Lm Madara came out of every battle with Hashirama tf are you talking. He was always smart enough to outwit him and even achieved the infinite tsukuyomi. He only lost person to kaguya which was the last thing he expected to happen.

deidara had a choice, he stupidly wanted to kill sasuke for killing orochimaru instead of him.. and then sasuke could have told deidara he wants to kill itachi, since they both hate him at that point. in the end sasuke didn't even get the info from him. it was a pretty meaningless fight, but one of my favorites because it made so much sense how sasuke figured out and countered how the explosives worked.
