When the flashbacks come its either a characters death or a major power boost

@@gamers-xh3uc There was no other impactful scene besides this one. You could argue that Itachi's death is up there though. Jiraiyas and Itachi's death are the saddest moments in the story
@@gamers-xh3uc But if you say something about like 'But what about Kushina meeting Naruto or meeting his dad" that was not sad. That was a wholesome and happy moment in Naruto's journey

This episode and story hits so hard for me now. I remember last year for some reason I kept watching the episode where Naruto found out Jiraiya died and his reaction to that. I watched it for the entire week, and on the friday. October 11 2019. My best friend and mentor dies in a car crash.

I remember watching this way back when and absolutely dying inside. Even at 24, his death still hits hard. Jiraiya was best unofficial dad :(

Jiraiya's death is one of anime's death that hit me hard. The saddest thing is that he felt that he had failed a lot of things in his life. I wished he had seen how much of an impact that he had brought to the shinobi world.
