@Carly Mara I agree. Timothy is my favorite character here and I feel that if it wasn't for Timothy, Dumbo wouldn't of been the richest and famous flying elephant.
who said anything about making a comparison? I merely pointed out the similarity in terms of indoctrinating an idea into one's mind by slipping under the radar. otherwise, this remains an animation of flying elephants while the other about the "anatomy" of dreams. That's the way I see it, anyway.
@Rebecca Michael I think what happened was that the ringmaster thought he was having a dream when hearing Timothy's voice thinking the voice was in his dream and maybe Timothy's voice came in his dream where at the end when the ringmaster said "I got it, I got it", it was his way of thinking "that was a helpful dream" especially before he went to bed he told one of his circus stars that he has to think of a climax and hoped maybe the idea will come in his dream.

Edward Brophy interestingly died while watching a prize fight on TV. Sadly though, the voice of the Italian accented Ringmaster; German actor Herman Bing commited suicide 6 years after Dumbo.
