Awesome info! You do an awesome job and are very knowledgeable! Thanks PA for all the support! Great place to shop for everything air gun. Oh and CS very helpful when you have questions!
Nice review Tyler. I have two S510XS's from Pyramyd Air. You've shot my .22 caliber in Laminate. I shoot both of them in field target. Obviously the .177 caliber more. Sharing this video for you.
It saddened me to see you not showing the complete line of pellet weights at different power levels. Because this is the strongest point of the rifle. The ability to simply use the power adjuster, instead of tuning many different settings is fantastic for alot of people. Also I want to see the 177cal testing. I love the safety exactly where it is. I also love the fill method. Please do a more in depth review with the above questions answered. I have purchased every air rifle I own from Pyramid Air. I have defended your company more times than I can count. It's great to hear you finally state how much Pyramid Air has and is doing for the industry. Perhaps the others have finally awaken the sleeping Giant.........🎯🎯🎯🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The strongest point of the rifle is the accuracy. The power adjuster is cool and yes, simple to use, but it has been on these rifles for a very long time. Nothing wrong with that, but I don't agree that it's the strongest feature. That said, will keep that in mind for future vids, showing more of the pellets at the various speeds, especially when so many shoot well. Historically, we do all of the other testing with whatever pellet proved to be most accurate. But not too hard to add a few more in the future when a gun shoots a bunch of stuff as well as this S510 did. You're entitled to love the safety and fill method, but on the whole, I think a lot of folks disagree with ya. I can live with the safety where it is, it doesn't impact my use of the rifle. But the fill on the other hand....a male QD would be SO much easier. I understand why AA sticks to their fill method, as it is extremely safe, but probes/adapters are going away. They've embraced the tactical world with this gun, it's time to embrace the QD fill fitting too! Appreciate the business Heith and the support. I think many more channels than ours are feeling the squeeze here in TH-cam land and I can't understate the importance of having audience support for the content that's being put out. Again, the support is greatly appreciated.
@@tylerpatner6591 I feel that for alot of people the simple way of changing power without having to make other adjustments is great. Everyone isn't trying to compete in EBR. Most do appreciate high quality, reliability and accuracy. The power adjuster gives you the ability to shoot lighter pellets and still keep them around 800 - 900fps. without messing with too much. Thanks brother for your excellent video and response. 👍🎯
I’m in the U.K. and have the sub 12lb version in 177 and it’s absolutely awesome and so accurate. I’ve had mine for maybe a year now and I have it zeroed in at 35 yards using Hades and Terminator pellets. I use the Hades and the terminators for vermin rats etc as they do an amazing job at stopping vermin. I totally agree what was said about the safety catch it’s my only gripe about the rifle and would have preferred an AR types after like FX have used on their impacts as it would be much better and more appealing, everything else is top notch and the adjustable stock once locked in to position is solid with no play. The moderator on mine however can be removed and has a very long thread which threads internally to the barrel. So the question is would I recommend one? Definitely it’s the most accurate 177 pcp I’ve ever owned and it’s not a lump to carry around, I can most certainly recommend one to anyone.
@@tylerpatner6591 I have to tell you as a pellet for pest contro and plinking they are more than enough. I have taken hundreds of iguanas with .177 and .22. They are not expensive compare to H&N and JSB. Crossman and H&N are the only brand sold locally in Puerto Rico. I have gotten very good results with Crossman pellets in my hunting and plinking. I practice a lot of plinking with Crossman pellets and I achieve kill shots up to 60 yards.
fantastic review and presentation. I wonder, is the Tactical version basically the same as a regular S510 with a tactical stock? I'm thinking if the stock could be removed and replaced with something else of my liking .. thanks!
A way nice video - and rifle. Loved the looks, the mags (nothing ridiculously big n colorful🤣), pic rail top, long m-lok.... But yes. I did not either like the safety - and especially that filling system. Could maybe also had a removable suppressor... But maybe could consider putting the cons aside if gotten a good offer for one..
Thanks for watching. Air Arms nails a lot of stuff, but the common threads that most folks want changed are the fill method and safety location. Other than that, the gun is fantastic
I was hesitant to purchase given the reviews and complaints because of the fill port but in the end the positives outweighed the negs and I went for it. Now that I have it that fill port is so easy to use it certainly shouldn’t be a negative at all. I’m a beginner and novice to all things air-gunning and I have had ZERO issues filling the gun. My only complaint was that I paid PA to zero the scope and although it came with the scope mounted it sure as heck wasn’t zeroed. Looking at the shot tape it took all of a total of 2 mins to shoot the 20 shots… When you’re paying someone $600/hour you would thinking it at least be on the paper target. Today will be day three of trying to zero my scope and I have yet to even come close to a bullseye. I probably need to watch 10 more TH-cam videos on how to zero a rifle scope.
So we don't sell American Air Arms which is why you've not seen reviews of them from us, but I have shot a few of their guns, they are definitely impressive.
7: 08, both dimension lines are short of the actual farthest hole's C to C. Judging by the lines, the FX Hybrids made the smaller group. If all cameras were set to the same distance from the targets, it would serve we viewers better for comparing the group sizes.
Over how many shots? The more you shoot, the more the spread is likely to increase. Now that doesn't mean it will, but it just means it's more likely that you're going to see that spread....well, spread out. But, realistically, you don't need a 3fps spread to ensure good accuracy. Anything under 10-15 fps is going to be more than good enough to get good accuracy out past 50 yards, assuming you're up to the task. After all, the shooter is the limiting factor.
@@tylerpatner6591 my rifle is a Benjamin classic 22. I modified the piston to fit a spring from an hw95. It also has a spring that fits perfectly inside of that spring hahaha. Both shimmed for maximum tension. 720 fps with 14.3 g

Which hand pump can I use for this pellet gun
Any of the pumps we offer will work, but the best pump on the market is the Hill Mk5. That is what I would recommend
