Did any of the play testers stay with their original sizes? And would you recommend staying with my usual size if I’m going to replace the insole with a dr scholl’s insole?
I am wearing adidas gamecourt v1 now. I like its sock-style feature so much, but can't find a new pair anymore :(. I know this FF2 is not in the same class like adidas gamecourt 1, but can you please compare its glove-like comfort. Is there any other sock-style shoes? Thanks in advance.
Both have the glove-like bootie construction with the uppers. That said, the Gamecourt v1 is lighter, softer, and a bit more comfort oriented overall. The Court FF2 is a bit heavier, and provides a bit more solid and stable ride , which makes sense being designed for a speedy, aggressive mover like Novak Djokovic. A couple other shoes you might consider are, the Diadora Speed Blushield Fly 3, and the KSwiss Hypercourt Supreme (a TW playtester favorite). Troy, TW
Zeljko said that we have to go a size down with court ff 2.The same was with court ff 1 (i ran a size down with ff1and its perfect to my feet).So do ff1 and ff2 run the same size?Thank you!Nice review!!!
@bill fot, So Zeljko did size down a half size, but none of the other playtesters did with this update. With the first version, most of us sized down a half size. We would recommend getting your true size in this update. Michelle, TW
There is usually a couple colorways that will be Djokovic specific, and a couple that do not have his logo on them, for each launch, which is typically quarterly throughout the year. However, at this moment we are not certain as to when the Court FF2 will be released for this year. There are many delays with importation of the product, and unfortunately we don't have any updates for the launch time. Sorry about that. Troy, TW
Hey Tennis Warehouse, I have wider feet, but I was able to fit relatively well in a size 10 of the Adidas Ubersonic 2s (the primeknit really stretched with my foot). However, in the Zoom Cage 2s, which were notorious for being a half size large, I also fit well in a 10. With that being said, what sizes should I go for in the Ubersonic 3s, the fresh foam lavs, and the court ff 2s, considering my wider feet? Also, I am aware that the fresh foam lavs are offered in various widths; however, I am unsure whether it's necessary for me to make the jump to a wider width.
With the Ubersonic 3, and Fresh Foam LAV shoes you should be good with a size 10.0. The Ubersonic 3's have a more roomy fit in the toe-box, compared to the Ubersonic 2's. Our playtester Jason has a wider foot type, and he found the D width of the LAV's to work just fine for his feet. I have a feeling the 2E width will be too wide. The court FF 2's have a very snug and contoured fit, and may be the least forgiving to wider foot types. That said the length is relatively true, so if you go up a half size they may be too long. My favorite of the bunch is the Fresh Foam LAV shoes, and I think they will work well for a wider foot type. Troy, TW
Both offer a very glove like fit. The Court FF 2 shoes are a bit heavier, and offer a bit more stability, whereas the Cage 3 shoes are lighter, a bit more flexible. I find that the Court FF 2 feels slightly lower to the ground in the forefoot, whereas the Cage 3 feels a bit more significant under the balls of the feet. Based on overall performance, we would give the edge to the Court FF 2 shoes. That being said, the Cage 3 shoes come with a six month outsole durability guarantee, which is a perk. Troy, TW
@@tenniswarehouse Cage 3 seems to be more above the ground, the type of shoes i think that gives less feel to the ground. Court FF 2 seems to be more flatter n close to the ground, giving more barefoot like feeling, which i personally like. Im going to try court FF 2. looks like a good shoe. I tried Gel resolution 8, but was disappointed, very narrow and pushes hard against my right ankle where we tie our laces...
@Tennis Warehouse Hi TW team, Can please share any info or give us a sneak peek concerning the Tecnifibre prototype Chris was using in the video. Can you touch on specs (Hoping it is extended length and has an 18x19 String pattern), the name of the line - Is it an update to the TFLASH? and/or a release date. Thanks and greatly appreciated !!
Hello! How does this shoe compare to the Adidas sole court boost. I have been a loyal barricade/sole court boost fan over the years and I am deciding if I should give the FF 2 a try.
@Hayder Alkhalisy, One standout difference is the fit. The Court FF 2 is more contoured, and slimmer in the fit, whereas the SoleCourt Boost has a roomy fit, especially the toe-box. The outsoles are slicker with the Court FF 2, and the SoleCourt Boost is a bit more sticky. The Boost cushion is very plush in the heel region of the SoleCourt Boost, but the Court FF 2 has a bit more cushion under the balls of the feet. Troy, TW
Good choise for (all) playground, an allround talent, especially on Sand Adidas soulcourt Boost Clay is the better option (depending on your foot with)
Hi TW friends, has anyone put an arch insert in these? I usually use SuperFeet Blue in US size 10 Gel Res 7. Is there room in this Court FF 2? Any comments about how an insert works in this shoe? Thanks!
I just tried installing my SuperFeet Orange, in the Court FF2. It is a bit more difficult as the opening to those shoes is a bit tight, but I was able to get them in. You kind of have to turn them sideways, and twist them as you push them in. Troy, TW
@@tenniswarehouse Thanks Troy. Once you got your SuperFeet in, how did they feel? Was it tight/cramped on the top of the arch? And most importantly, is the existing insole removable??? Thanks so much!
We found them to be pretty true to size. If you are somewhat in between sizes, I might go with the smaller of the two, as some find them to run a bit long. Troy, TW
@Lendl Jet Leyba, The Gel Res 8 WIDE will be the widest option. The Court FF 2 is a bootie constructed shoe so it won't open up as much as the traditional tongue shoe. Hope that helps, Michelle, TW
Hi Tennis warehouse staff! Can I ask when will there be any new color ways of the court ff 2 on your website? Will there be restocks of the color way novak whore during this years US Open? I really wanna buy one hahhaha
I believe we are getting more around the middle of November, 2020. That said, I can't guarantee anything lately as far as shipments, as a lot of things have been pushed back, or delayed for apparel and shoes. Troy, TW
@Rene Barbier, These are all court versions, but we have the clay court versions available at Tennis Warehouse Europe, Men's: www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/descpage-ACFFCWG.html, and Women's: www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/descpage-ACFFWCG.html. Troy, TW
Why have the number one player in the world wear your shoes and not have them readily available to purchase. Wouldn't that be classified as marketing 101?
Most shoes have been hard to get for a lot of retailers at the moment. There are a lot of delays with importation, due to the pandemic, and other shipping problems, with items coming from other countries. Troy, TW
I wore the original court FF for about 2 years and just recently tried these and did not like the feel at all, I will be switching to Nike's air cages soon.
The blue/white is amazing, why wouldn't Asics release it worldwide is beyond me.
Love the bloopers, good stuff!
I love how efficient and low drama Chris' swing is but man, the swing speed from these young guys is crazy.

What blacked out racquet was Chris using in the video? Does he intend on switching to this frame? Thanks for your response
@Fear Critical Apex,
It is a prototype Tecnifibre racquet! Not sure if he will make the switch yet...

does can be use as gym/crossfit shoe? im just wondering to buy one
Which is more stable?gel resolution 8 or court ff2 ?especially on the upper side around the little toe area..
Both offer great stability, but maybe a bit better with the Court FF2 as it feels a bit lower to the ground. Troy, TW

Ok thanks,Troy!
@Tennis Warehouse What is the width of these shoes
@Jonah Powley,
Medium, but it is very contoured and glove like due to the tongue-less, sock style design of the uppers. Troy, TW
What blackout frame is Chris using ?
@DJ DJ,
It is a Tecnifibre prototype. Troy, TW
Nice, thanks Troy. Reason I asked is that he looks really comfortable with it, almost like with his trusty Tflash...
Edit: Just paused it at 3:04 ... the throat looks like the t-flash ! huh no wonder he is goating with it ;-)
Hi,
Nice review. Can you recommend a all court, especially clay durable shoe today. Mostly durable with its sole than anything else.
Thanks !
Sarang
@Rao Sarang Ganesh,
Asics Gel Resolution 7 Clay, or Nike Air Zoom Cage 3 Clay are both great options.
Troy, TW
Thanks Troy !
So as far as sole durability goes these are the best !?
@@raosarangganesh8110,
Gel Resolution 7 shoes are better for durability, and they have an outsole guarantee, as these do not. Troy, TW
Thanks @ Troy ! Appreciate the quick response. Cheers !
how does this compare to the solution speed ff
@DanielTheBest,
These shoes offer more support, stability, and durability. The Speed FF are lighter, and more flexible. Troy, TW
Is there a version for clay or they are all-court.
@Rene Barbier,
These are all court versions, but we have the clay court versions available at Tennis Warehouse Europe, Men's: www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/descpage-ACFFCWG.html, and Women's: www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/descpage-ACFFWCG.html. Troy, TW
Amazing how better players the europeans are, much better movement and technique

Nope!

those guys can play
So, why are these shoes so hard to get
Most shoes have been hard to get for a lot of retailers at the moment. There are a lot of delays with importation, due to the pandemic, and other shipping problems, with items coming from other countries. Troy, TW
Looks like a great b-ball shoe with that traction
The yellow sole color at the front of the shoe doesn’t really look right, should’ve been the red orange or black.
haha highly anticipated
Super uncomfortable compared to the old Court FF's imo, already started blistering in some weird places, never happened with the old shoes.
Also the sock fit doesn't fit as tight as it used to

Court FFs are great on clay. Not a good shoe for hard courts. It’s too flexible and the outsole doesn’t hold up on hard court surfaces.
@E P,
This update is quite different than the first version, much more stable and durable. Troy, TW
Far more uncomfortable than original court FF as well as significantly heavier.
