This was probably my favorite segment this year. So many legendary moments: Tom getting Halo Reach to be played, Jon and Stephen getting to play Dream Course, an insane amount of money raised, and, of course, the best game of all time being played for almost an hour. This is far and away my favorite segment from this colosseum and maybe every colosseum. There’s so many parts of it I love and I’m glad the wider TRG audience will be getting to see it in action (and inaction)
In the years I've followed the TRG community, I've seen some pretty crazy things... But I personally think we've hit peak insanity with this segment. From Tom finally getting to fulfill his dream of _Halo Reach_ in all its glory on Cookie (18:41) to the _Dream Course_ rematch (1:01:53) and the hour of insanity that was the first "Disk Only" podcast (2:08:47)... I'm struggling to imagine how we're ever going to top this Chaos Cookie. That I still fully expect that we *can* pull off such a thing says quite abit about the community...
If the previous years haven't shown here's the definitive proof that this community will donate money for anything. Game Boy Player Disc Only is best game obviously. And wow Jon has so many games

I am not gonna lie, I am simply floored by the size of Jon's collection. I own something like 330 games across seven platforms, including my PC and games that my sister plays way more than I do, but holy shit, 9000+ just in that room? Collection goals, man. If I ever get a house of my own, and a job that can support it, you bet I'mma get to collecting in earnest.
Also, Jon has warned how expensive a hobby it is. Some games are CRAZY expensive. He only has a few of those kinds from either deals or people giving them to him.
In which donors decide Jon’s fate in a modified version of his usual Saturday night Fortune Cookie. Dreams will come true, and you will believe that four guys can watch and talk over a static screen for at least half an hour.
And at long last we FINALLY have the Kirby’s Dream Course competition between Stephen and Jon on TRG. First it got corrupted, then it got shot down as a Colosseum ‘19 segment, and then the world changed and we almost didn’t get a Colosseum this year, but now, even though the round wasn’t entirely finished, it’s now on TRG after 2-3 years of anticipation. Want to thank everyone who helped (me) make that happen (had I had more, I would’ve pushed for it solo, but I already made a lot of donations throughout the day, and that 1k was dipping into my day 3 pool).
Just realized that this is the first time on TRG that we see Jon’s stream layout, the first time the Intermission wall is shown here, the first time the Bagel alert is played on anything TRG, the first time Popsky’s stuff has been played on this channel, and the first time Dalton’s work is shown off with the outro. Also for those wondering about Sour Cream at 58:00, Sour Cream is a skunk that Bagel befriended one day (Jon found the two of them walking around one day), and the two of them hang out every now and then. Wolv022 Why would a game collector drywall over their collection? Anyways, there’s one person Jon’s raised a couple times who I think, and he may agree, has a more impressive man-cave than Jon does. It may not have nearly as many games, but the things he does have really blew Jon and the mods away with how impressed they were (an arcade cabinet of Ninja Gaiden, a painting of the Castlevania box art with the whip protruding out of the painting the closer to the bottom it got, and so on).

Audoodle Well it makes it more genuine (guessing Jewker was able to get that removed before it went up on Jon’s channel, but this one that was looked over by MC/Dan seems to straight up be the VOD minus the Initiate! Opening. I think they were more concerned about making sure that there’s nothing that could get these videos copyright claimed, similar to the edits during Stepmania and presumably the drum concert).

Audoodle Well it makes it more genuine (guessing Jewker was able to get that removed before it went up on Jon’s channel, but this one that was looked over by MC/Dan seems to straight up be the VOD minus the Initiate! Opening. I think they were more concerned about making sure that there’s nothing that could get these videos copyright claimed, similar to the edits during Stepmania and presumably the drum concert).
