Alright! TIP TOP TRIVIA TIME! I have a very short list today Daroach's utility was completely shown. What wasn't shown is how broken Magalor is. Emile only began spamming ultra sword once the multiples came out. Most of the very powerful attacks are usually down up attacks as they either provide huge amounts of invulnerability and plenty of damage. The parallel versions of bosses can not be friended. So good luck if you have to quit mid game or 3 get crushed by a slow-moving block Most abilities for this game have the same benefits against their respective bosses, so fire against whispy and sword against meta knight still have the same events. Daroach is tied with Magolor for the second most Abilities on a single Dream Friend with 3, only missing Wind and Water. As for the Knights, there actually wasn’t any new Knights until Amazing Mirror with Dark Meta Knight. Even after that there wasn’t another until Super Star Ultra introduced Galacta Knight. However the number has exploded since Robobot as that game introduced Mecha Knight/Mecha Knight+ and Stock Mecha Knight, this game introduced Parallel Meta Knight and [insert Guest Star spoilers here], and Forgotten Land introduced Phantom Meta Knight, leading to 8 total Knights including Meta himself. Man I love Upper Caliber, the big attack Chugga got hit by, so much. It did get a massive upgrade in Forgotten Land (especially Phantom Meta Knight’s version), but it’s still super cool looking here. If only he had it in Smash instead of the completely made up Darkness Illusion (no they are not the same move). So many "pit deaths" just to get the hearts for this level. As Emile would say, this level really IS the pits. Yay, Bagel the one-eyed Wonder Cat appearing in the recording venue. Cat chirping is so cute.
To address Chugga's inquiry about electronic butts, you'd probably be able to get gluteal implants, or at least a gluteal orthodic device, if you had diminished gluteal syndrome. That said, it's doubtful that you'll ever end up with DGS, since it's a fictional genetic disorder from King of the Hill, though I wouldn't be surprised if there were actually people out there with severely diminished glutes. "Mr Mwinuko, you have no ass."
Yes there is! I learn about it on SciShow Tangent. I can't remember which eq of the podcast, but they replace the broken muscle of the butt with electro magnets. So the magnets shut the butthole until you press a button to turn off the magnets and you poop! Science! Is terrible.
They did great. They didn't miss a single one in this area. They've only missed 3 in total. Overall, they need 13 more to get the good ending, and I'm feeling like they'll probably get over that amount. Edit: They had a much easier time with Meta Knight than Kracko. But oh man, that final boss is gonna be something. And now that Emile mentions it, I think I'll go back to that part in his Triple Deluxe LP
Remember when I said some of the pause screen descriptions were mistranslated horribly? Yeah. Yikes, that is a bad one on Parallel Meta Knight. The next Parallel boss has just as much of a bad one... Fun gameplay facts: you see those tornadoes at 19:04? Don't touch them, like, ever. They not only bypass any sort of invincibility, including post-hit i-frames, but even _intangibility,_ such as that from the regular dodge attack, or ESP's Vanish. Anyone with a good eye will know those two bypassed Star Dream Soul OS's desperation attack in Kirby Planet Robobot (as well as the frames from swallowing an ability), but here, no such thing. Same thing applies to Parallel Woods jumping around the field when he lands.
The ice curling puzzle with Daroach would've been easier if Jon had realized that he didn't have to charge the ice laser to trigger the attack. Just tapping the attack button with Daroach sends out a short ranged ice shard that would still trigger the ice curling on Rocky. Also, I like how this part has the exact same title as part 16 (aside from the part number of course). I wonder if whoever's titling these videos (I assume Dan) noticed that or not.
With Emile mentioning how much he struggles with motion inputs in fighting games, I would recommend Blazblue Cross Tag Battle or Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising as a fighting game for him to try. With BBTAG, you only have to worry about doing Quarter Circle motions and tapping Down twice or thrice. And Granblue lets you play the game without needing to use motion inputs by having them assigned via a button called Skill.
I recently tried out Dragon Ball FighterZ again around the time the rollback beta was announced, and I've stuck with it and have been enjoying learning how to play. It similarly has pretty much only quarter circles motions and tapping down or holding forward/back. Though its systems overall are still kind of nuts in terms of how many options you have (EX moves, Super Dash, Dragon Rush, Vanish, reflect, etc) I am by no means a fighting game player and have had trouble learning other games like Guilty Gear or Soul Calibur. Granted, I've also watched quite a bit of FighterZ gameplay since it released since it was just a fun and interesting game to watch, so I can at least read what's going on which leads to me being less confused while playing. Once you've practiced enough with the controls to get quarter circle motions consistent, my best advice for anyone wanting to learn combos is to treat it almost like a rhythm game (because the secret to good action games is that they're all actually rhythm games, and fighting games follow this as well). Learn the timing of the moves with your button presses, and get used to memorizing it. It takes a lot of practice but it is very rewarding.
18:06 Yeah. I didn’t like Pokken Tournament much either. I did reasonably okay with Gardevior and Blaziken and tried Weavile for a bit, but the controls didn’t mesh well with me.

Chugga talking about the extra phases in True Arena mode reminds me of last year when I played Forgotten Land and I beat Elfelis on True Arena and I'm like "Hell yeah!" and my buddy looks at me dead in the eye and tells me to run. I'm absolutely confused by this until a massive black hole shows up in the middle of the boss arena and I'm clinging to dear life lmfao I'm new to Kirby, so I didn't know better
I’m glad someone got hit by Upper Calibur, since it has a great animation, and Tim probably isn’t going to be hitting Dark Calibur with Dark Meta Knight.
Daroach's section is by far the hardest one in HiaD. His versatile moveset shows it's important to read the moveset of each character. I remember needing 20 attempts to get that curling past right. It was so hard to time for me.
I know they don't want to change characters because they want to play as them but it's definitely made things more painful than it probably should be and I'm all here for it.
The good thing about the True Arena for this game is there is no extra core form to Void Termina because it's just Void Termina's core you have fougth against that is beefed up X11.
Wait, Oh chugga is fighting game inputs genuinely the only reason you don't play fighters? I ran into that same issue for a long time! Genuinely, what you do is find a game you want to play, then look for the characters that don't use the movements you're unable to input! You'll probably still do quarter circles, hadouken style, unless you're going to a game specifically designed around not having motion inputs. But the trick is that motion inputs aren't the only input based challenge. Some games focus on long combos with simple inputs, or parry timing, or movement like smash bros. You gotta find the game with the right style for you and start easing in that way. Ideally with a strong community connection since the human element to fighting games is the absolute best part. (Being able to turn to an opponent who just beat your ass, and rather than them being an online blank profile you'll never see again, they're a friend on discord you @ and go "DUDE OH MY GOD THAT COMBO WAS INSANE GG!") Idk why I went on for a bit like this, I think I just relate to the idea of "I'd love to play fighting games, but X/Y/Z" and wanted to give a little nudge that it can be well worth it to join in the community. Really the biggest takeaway is that if you want to start, you gotta find some friends who're already in. That way they can help guide you through the initial hurdles.
I dont see anyone else saying it so I'l chime in. Mechanical butts exist, sort of! Therr are a couple of different types of sphincter implants that can assist with different gut issues, such as a loose anal sphincter preventing you from controlling the release of your stool.
To answer about the "How many Knights" There's- Meta Knight, D Meta Knight, Galacta Knight, Mecha Knight, Parallel Meta Knight, and 2 others (1 here in Star Allies and the other in Forgotten Land) Also, iirc the reason hes called the "Otherworldly Frost Blade" despite not being remotely ice related is because it was a mistranslation of "Sharp Blade" or something Yeah Kirby True Arenas usually pull a last minute gut punch to catch you off guard
The old naruto clash of ninja games are simple fighting games with some direction based special moves. In my experience it's easy to pickup and have some fun. I also wanna that pokken can also scratch that itch
I sympathize with Chugga regarding fighting games. I struggle with the motion inputs with Ryu in Smash Ultimate and it has me hesitant to try a game like Street Fighter 6. Yes, there’s a simpler control scheme in 6, but I’m pretty sure you sacrifice some damage output for the simpler moves to keep it balanced.
The funny (and sorta sad) part is is that the Kirby versions of fighting game inputs aren’t even that bad. Fighter’s “quarter circle” motion is literally just pressing down and forward+attack quickly, whereas in a regular fighter game I’m pretty sure you actually have to do a motion, as in the game detects you pressing down and forward at the same time. Any up-down and down-up motion is similarly just pressing the two directions quickly, as opposed to having to hold, or “charge” the first button before pressing the other. Eg. Terry’s input up-special in smash. Then again, some people I suppose just have slow finger speed or something.
@@kennychen4838 Kirby actually uses the modern fighting game's "two frame Shoryu" method for input detection to determine whether you do a quarter circle forward motion. Like you said, yes the traditional QCF motion is down, down-forward, forward, checking on each frame that your input matches that. However, you cannot go from down to forward within a frame without rolling through down-forward, so rather than check 3 frames for those exact inputs they actually check for down on the first frame and forward on the second frame. HAL Labs made the same inference that other fighting game developers did.
@@AREAlhero you actually can, the switch’s joy-cons have directional buttons rather than a pad. Also, I just opened rtdldx right now and it literally works as I described (press down then quickly forward+attack). The timing’s a bit tighter than I remember, but it works and I remember doing that for other kirby games as fighter’s my main ability. Edit: I realize that there’s a non-zero chance I might be just pressing the two buttons within 2 frames as you said, so that might be it.
I've been playing Mortal Kombat for 27 years, and I still don't know what the fuck "quarter circle back" means. I learned as a kid "down up B. Forward forward A. Back Forward B. Down Forward A." Shit like that So anytime someone says some shit like that, I never know what it means.
Well since you know that, here's a translation lesson! "Quarter circle back (QCB)" is equivalent to "down back" in Mortal Kombat terms. The difference here though, is when playing games with a QCB input, rather than you doing "down" and "back" with two different thumb movements, you start down and you roll the stick to the back position. Thus the total journey of the stick was moving a quarter circle backwards. In fact, recent Mortal Kombats let you make the two motions interchangeable. What may help is thinking of fighting game inputs in terms of a 3x3 numpad like may be on your keyboard. "Down up A" in MK terms would be translated to "28A" in numpad notation, meaning you first input down (represented by 2 on the pad), up (8 on the pad) and then A to do an attack. Thus a QCB is "214B" in numpad notation, where the inputs are down, down back, and back then a Button press. This is done as one fluid motion by fighting game players. Quarter circle forward (QCF) is thus 236B.
@@xJC4Rx Traditionally yes, in most fighting games you start from the down position for this specific motion. The next most likely quarter circle motion you see may be a quarter circle forward starting from back, I have seen this motion named "quarter circle down" but that may have ambiguity of your starting direction so I think it would be best to refer to that motion strictly with its numpad notation of 412
@@AREAlhero I feel like it's an overly complicated way, that requires more effort, to say some basic ass shit. The lack of knowledge on the starting position for me doesn't help either. Because like you said here "quarter circle down" in MK terms exists as things like "forward down" or "back down"
@@xJC4Rx Its not that much more complicated though than many other game mechanics. And once you learn it its pretty simple to repeat. It also has some unique strengths for example. The ability to represent it in text as QCF or QCB is way better than having to type or say "forward down" or "back down" especially when "forward down" and "back down" already correspond to directions a player can be holding their stick. It's inelegant. Furthermore the ability to represent a combo string in numpad notation such as 5A->jumpB->air214C->2D->2146AC is an unparalleled strength in quick communication once both parties are aware of it.

His versatile moveset shows it's important to read the moveset of each character.
I remember needing 20 attempts to get that curling past right. It was so hard to time for me.
LOVE YOU BAGEL
I know they don't want to change characters because they want to play as them but it's definitely made things more painful than it probably should be and I'm all here for it.
Every time I think I’m done saying that I love foreboding titles and thumbnails, I get proven wrong.
Go squish!
7:52 aw!!! Kitty!
I know!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!! Mah heart!!!!
The good thing about the True Arena for this game is there is no extra core form to Void Termina because it's just Void Termina's core you have fougth against that is beefed up X11.
I like to imagine it was Bagel asking about ToTK, lol
(Being able to turn to an opponent who just beat your ass, and rather than them being an online blank profile you'll never see again, they're a friend on discord you @ and go "DUDE OH MY GOD THAT COMBO WAS INSANE GG!")
Idk why I went on for a bit like this, I think I just relate to the idea of "I'd love to play fighting games, but X/Y/Z" and wanted to give a little nudge that it can be well worth it to join in the community. Really the biggest takeaway is that if you want to start, you gotta find some friends who're already in. That way they can help guide you through the initial hurdles.
SpongeBob was almost given The Iron Butt.
Bagel ❤️
I dont see anyone else saying it so I'l chime in.
Mechanical butts exist, sort of!
Therr are a couple of different types of sphincter implants that can assist with different gut issues, such as a loose anal sphincter preventing you from controlling the release of your stool.
Anything as extreme as the one in SpomgeBob?
To answer about the "How many Knights"
There's- Meta Knight, D Meta Knight, Galacta Knight, Mecha Knight, Parallel Meta Knight, and 2 others (1 here in Star Allies and the other in Forgotten Land)
Also, iirc the reason hes called the "Otherworldly Frost Blade" despite not being remotely ice related is because it was a mistranslation of "Sharp Blade" or something
Yeah Kirby True Arenas usually pull a last minute gut punch to catch you off guard
I wouldn’t really count Mecha Knight, since it’s just regular Meta Knight with modifications. There are the Stock Mecha Knights though.
"Frost Blade" is not a mistranslation, but rather something lost in translation. It's used in Chinese literature to refer to a sharp blade.
@@Iris_Descentahhh ok
And now, mandatory cat break!

Welp you know what Chugga's next solo TRG game is gonna be: Any fighting game with a story, do MK1, the story is pretty good.
Wild how you can solve the dynamite puzzle backwards
Was that... TEAMWORK?
The old naruto clash of ninja games are simple fighting games with some direction based special moves. In my experience it's easy to pickup and have some fun. I also wanna that pokken can also scratch that itch
We got a merp alert!!!
Poyo!
Electric butts would let you amplify your farts!
those 3 hearts are pretty cruel. some fire attacks are slow.
Oh boi time for more heart collecting. Sounds bad out of context
No emile you can get plastic surgery for the butt but no electric butt don't exsist
Unrelated to the video but has anyone else had problems with the walking wake and iron leaves raids in scarlet violet not updating?
13 more Hearts. You can do it guys
You're meta knight, hes meta knight, hes meta knight???? Are there any other knights i should know about?
Poyo!!
You should try granblue then, chugga
Do robo tims dream of electric farts?
Anyone up for some Pancakes?

I've been playing Mortal Kombat for 27 years, and I still don't know what the fuck "quarter circle back" means.
I learned as a kid "down up B. Forward forward A. Back Forward B. Down Forward A."
Shit like that
So anytime someone says some shit like that, I never know what it means.
@@AREAlhero So it always starts in the down position and rolls?
Once again Magalor's wind ability is shown clear as day, once again its ignored.
