25th Amendment. But Kamala and the rest of his Cabinet would have to turn on him and declare him unfit to serve. If he turned around and contested that, then it would be up to a vote of Congress. So then it would come down to whether the Republicans in the House thought Trump stands a better chance against Biden or Harris. There are polls showing Harris doing worse than Biden against Trump. But she would be an incumbent President running for re-election at that point, which is always an advantage.

I think the big issue is that everybody knows that Biden can't win, and certainly can't do the job if he does win. The problem though is that the party leadership has done a crappy job of promoting younger politicians and there really aren't any other options that could win. I think Bernie might be able to win this election, but that's a long shot, and then they'd be in the position in 4 years of needing a new candidate as Bernie definitely can't handle more than that, even 1 term is asking a lot at his age.
