- Watching your queenfish get attacked by sharks and a pack of vicious wild GTs does more than just get your heart pumping..Part 6 ends on the rest of day 6 where the afternoon bite picks up and the mayhem strikes. It was a day full of a few highs and lows but aside from the bum morning and the snapped geeter, I can't say I've experienced anything like that while fishing from the land.

In Hawaii we use 12 foot poles and huge conventional reels to catch gt’s. The bait we use are either live reef fish or whole octopus. And the crazies part is that we catch them off of like 40 foot cliffs.

It was so weird seeing you eat food in my areas local cafe......here in Aus and seeing the places you go it is just the oddest thing to have watched you in the past in American to come 10 minutes from where I live! absolutely insane top stuff as always

Try to avoid tightening the drag when the fish is running hard on a fixed spool, use your palm to manually brake the spool until you get a break in the run and then use that opportunity to tighten up

Jon, come back to the great lakes and do some smallmouth fishing on the flats with me! a couple square miles of water that doesn't come above your waist, crystal clear, and holding giant smallmouth. Average is 3lbs or so with the largest fish pushing 8 pounds. Excellent fly fishing opportunity. Peace!
