The fit and finish looks excellent, well thought out placement for everything! 8) Just hope they can set a reasonable price point for them! I heard there was quite a wait for a 172, there is a real opportunity there. 8)
Hi Sling, just an idea. Why don’t combine both high wing and low wing and make a new stagger wing like the Griffon Lionheart? Double the fuel capacity, lift? Put more power engine?
I understand the advantage of a taildragger for bush planes but what is the advantage for asphalt runway planes? Lower wind resistance? How much higher is the cruise speed?
It would have been nice if baggage door went down to the level of the baggage floor for easier loading. Otherwise it appears to be a very nice aircraft.
How does the MT prop know when to reduce blade pitch to 5,500rpms? If it doesn’t and you have to do it manually by pulling the throttle back then I would think you’d be climbing at a reduced manifold pressure versus the Airmaster set up?
It is my understanding from other aircraft with the same engine and propeller combination that when you first pull the power back, the control unit is programed to only reduce RPM's. After a certain RPM reduction, certainly by 5200 RPM or whatever is the minimum RPM for wide open throttle, then the manifold pressure starts being reduced. I think I would rather have the MT propeller with manual propeller control, mainly so I could push the propeller full forward on final approach for the braking effect of the 3 blade prop in fine pitch for a sleek airframe, especially one with low flap extension speeds. I had a friend with an RV-7A and a MT 3 blade propeller and the braking effect on final was significant, and the braking effect on rollout reduced ground roll on landing to less than 500 feet without using the brakes.
The plane's look fantastic;, and is super efficient! I just need to go faster than 142 knots. I think they are working their way to that higher speed a/c of the future.
" At Osgosh, guys broke into my plane , sitting inside.." I hope someone broke a few of his teeth. People just don't have any respect, manners or consideration any more. Great video though, beautiful plane!
Notice what makes it good. It's the composite. So for God's sake, make it all composite already. No titanic rivet nonsense. It's so crude and ugly and form hindering and endlessly time consuming to manufacture. One piece fuselage. Not two sides. One piece. Takes a little special gear but once established can be made very quickly and is easy to certify. And give it white Tesla seats. Not wrinkled black leather with excessive stitching. One piece composite wing too. All carbon fiber. It pays for itself because of the weight advantage. Get it certified. Kit building has no future. It cannot scale. And resist the bs urge to quadruple the price when it's certified. Same price or lower. Then seek big funding from textron or other to take it real big. kill them all. optimization is king.
tail swept back like a shark. not a huge vertical sail. And thin. CF can be razor thin and still stiff. Look at gliders, look at Sea Avio Risen. Double curved teardrop body in CF is naturally stiff so a shell is enough. Key to making it super light. And a form that lends itself well to eventual pressurization. When you are well funded and big, if douchebag Garmin doesn't want to play ball, make your own avionics. Much bigger screens without the legacy clutter. Computing and displays costs nothing today. It has no business costing 50k$ for a set. Same with Rotax. 915 shouldn't cost 40k. that's a crime. small turbofan jets is the way.
Teslas seats look and feel terrible though. And the tail is aluminum for a reason. For reinforcement and weight and balance. I'd love to see you make your own faa certified avionics. That'd be dope you should give them to Sling. You probably think things like a HI and a basic 6 pack are too much clutter as well lols.

Greatest highwing period! great demo Jean!
Draco or Scrappy might have something to say about that😂
The TSI HW is without a doubt the plane I'd like to get. Now I just have to figure out to pay for one.
Just sell a few kidneys. Maybe a liver
About 1000 of us can pool together some scratch!
Just an AWESOME plane.....love Sl8ng and KFA planes....taildraggers all the way...😊
Beautiful high wing tail dragged. Very thought out.
Im definitly going to use that clear prop verbatim going forward lol!
Clear prop mafks!
Great overview guys, placed my order for HW just before Osh. #78. Can’t wait.
Great choice, we are excited for you 😎
@@SlingPilotAcademy what are the prices for this kit? Also can you break it up into several payments

Absolutely love this plane. Everything
That is one nice looking plane, inside and out.
Hmmmm, maybe I should sell my RV 12 and buy the High Wing. Beautiful!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful Airplane! Can't wait to see more of them in our skies😍 Love from ZA
Ditto, Howick KZN
Awesome bird Jean.
We were sad to see it go!
that is one beautiful aircraft !!
Please ditch the background elevator muzak..
congratulations, good initiative

I'm turning into a HW fan after seeing this airplane !
That was the goal, we are spreading our love of the HW 🛩
Same here. I was pretty sure I would end up with a low wing plane one day but this plane may be my goal plan.
I wish I could afford a High wing. I have always been a fan of Sling aircraft since the beginning it came to the USA
Luv It !!
Nice plane.

What an interesting idea, we'll have to do some thinking about that one 🤔🛩
Worst idea I’ve heard this year.
I like it 👌

Nice video. Some positive thoughts. Don’t you think we’d rather hear the engine than your choice of music, especially while you fly?
How much one cost? Thanks

Can you put a brs parachute in this version of the tsi
10:17 there is an option for a parachute from 2 different manufacturers.
Would this be consider a Bush Plane? I think not, right?
And the price is about a third of a new 172? That's and easy choice if you ask me.
Still no six seater available?

Wow. The HW a plane u can take mother in law places😂 spacious
Why the captions on Jean? His English not good enough? 😂 Jean, when are you sailing around the world?
Hey Jean. I see you're wearing a wedding ring. Did you finally decide to settle down?
Nice aircraft! I'm old school. My problem is - no prop control. Thus this Sling is eliminated from my list 😞
I mean you can put a different prop with a prop control on any Rotax 915… Thus not eliminating a sling

Beautiful aircraft with that horrible foam stick grip. Beautiful aircraft though.
You can option it with whatever grip you want. Midwest Panel Builders have at least 2 options on their website.
