How you doing Brother! My name is Stephen I’m coming up on 1 year anniversary of being an electrical apprentice. I just want to say thank you for being an inspiration for myself & others out there. Just wanted to say Thank You..🙏🏽
My guy is an HVAC Tech! King of Trades. You won't get bored in HVAC. we learn more from failure than success. As I usually say, " Leave the Trade better than you found it " 💪
Wow I'm an HVAC technician and installer. And you just messed up big time. You didn't purge the air from the lines in your manifold gauge. You just introduced air into the system and moisture is going to slide up and burn out the compressor again. You always have to purge the lines first before you release in the refrigerator back into the system.
I have been a maintenance technician in manufacturing plants for 8yrs. I’m not sure if it’s me or them but I have been terminated, quit, overworked I’m just not sure what to do at this point. Please help?
Interview with the IBEW/NECA coming up this month. Never been so excited/nervous at the same time. Do you have any advice for me should i not get into the apprenticeship? I want this opportunity so bad that I don't even know what I would wanna do should i not get accepted.
Best way is hands on. If you can find someone willing to take you on and work with you, start with commercial. It's tougher and there's a lot more to learn, but once you do residential will be a walk in the park. I started out with supermarket refrigeration. Then I moved on into commercial HVAC. I've never worked for a company that does residential, but I've done some small jobs for family and friends. To me, it's just too boring.
