Hello @FlyingMAir. You are correct if you have a newer model of the i11S yak. I just received my replacement hulls and they don't fit this method either. When I get time I will create a new video for the new hull design.
@@RandyOrwin I bought mine about a year ago, so it's pretty new. Your video was helpful, though. I think the most helpful thing, however, was getting almost ALL the air out. I used a vacuum. I look forward to the new video.
My wife and I both have Adventure Islands and having both the i11S and the AI really covers all possible scenarios that we run into. We even took our i11S inflatables with us to Canada last year. Worked well.
I have a 2019 and my fin box is located forward of the fin box on the i11s in this video, so the first fold from the stern shown here is not possible on mine. Nice video, but if your fin box is located like mine . . .
Very nice, mate! Where do you put the cup holder? Or is that just an American thing? Wait, I just figured it out... between the seat and seatback. Thanks for a great video!
The i11S does come with a skeg for use as a SUP. It doesn't come with a separate paddle for SUP use. Our dealer threw in a T handle to turn the standard paddle into the paddle for the SUP. It doesn't work the best but it does work. If you were a serious SUP user a dedicated SUP paddle might be better. I don't SUP on my inflatable much and spend way more time with the seat and the drive.
It didn’t exactly match my Hobie kayak, but the instructions pretty much worked and I finally got the darn thing back in the bag. Thanks!

Does the Hobie hand pump reverse to such air out?
I have a tandem island too, and im thinking to get a i11s. I believe tha is a perfect combination.

I to have a TI and am considering an i11s. only the longevity of the inflatables gives me pause.
We have that thought as well, but just try to take good care of ours. @@dimes007
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Does the mosquito device really work.

When I do this on a normal day, it takes about 3 minutes to pack it all up.
Can you do another packing video with the newer Hobie i 11? Thank you!!!
@CJ that is the plan now that I have the new style myself. Can't guarantee when, but I will get around to it.
@@RandyOrwin it's not the same? I have a 2020 i11s.
Does the i11s paddle comes with the blade for SUP paddling? What about the skeg fin, is it included?

very cool ,
Does anyone know the weight, width, height and length of the Hobie i11s when it is fully packed.
@MusicforMe123, weight is about 29kg with everything. Height is about 950mm, width is about 650mm and the depth is about 350mm. Hope this helps.
