I'm learning a lot about resistance bands. I'm going to purchase a good set and start doing more home workouts. I like the versatility and the fact that they don't take up much space.
I love band workouts. They're so lightweight, quiet, and super portable. I was watching a different channel, and with exercise 2 (lateral raise), I found this person's advice incredibly helpful - don't grab the band with your hand, as was shown in this video. Instead, put your hand inside the band, keep your hand flat/unclenched, and use the top side of your palm to drive the band. This method completely eliminates any stress on your forearm or wrist, doesn't require a strong grip, and quite frankly feels a heckuva lot better on my joints, as it focuses entirely on the shoulder.

I've had some serious problem training my left shoulder with dumbbels. Almost always pain in that shoulder the day after. This workout burns more and feels better after. Awesome!
I almost never comment on youtube. I had been sitting at home with one dumbbell trying to work out daily and after months of lockdowns, I got too bored with the same exercises and was extremely inconsistent. I then got me some resistance bands but the laziness had become a habit. Thanks to this video of yours I feel like I have put in some actual work after ages. Usually, to do the same workout I would take 2 hours and waste a lot of my time.

Be careful about performing the upright rows. Many physical therapists / shoulder specialists recommend avoiding this movement as it can lead to shoulder impingement. The upright row exercise used to be a staple of old school body builders, but like the behind-the-neck press and behind-the-neck pull downs, it is now generally viewed as a relatively high injury risk.

For lateral raise you can always wrap the band around your foot two or 3 times to increase resistance. I do it all the time. Works fine.
