This music (and game) is a big part of my childhood, I would often find myself coming back to the city just to listen to the music even if I had to climb from the foot of Mekonis since the teleportation was disabled at this point. OML this is my favorite area theme in any video game I've ever played and your arrangement hits the vibe PERFECTLY, its so good!!! Also after reading your description, finally I'm not the only one I know who got into Xenoblade because of the music, I remember listening to a 4 hour long mix of Nintendo music while studying in high school 7 or so years ago. Throughout that entire mix there were only 2 tracks that just really stuck out and grabbed my attention, which were the title theme and Agniratha. I noticed they were both from the same game, did some searching, and found Chugga who also introduced me to your channel! Really cool story looking back on it, this feels like its come full circle back to Agniratha again lol

Wow that was incredible. I can definitely relate to your comment about going music -> game. I know the context of the music makes such a strong impact on my reaction/enjoyment of the piece. And probably is a more fair take as, they are not just composed/arranged in a vacuum. The Xenoblade series is one I have never gotten around to playing, mostly because it was always that 1 used copy in the store when I was a kid that cost more than some full price games. This definitely makes me reconsider it's place on the backlog. Also amazing collaborators!

USED!!!! Thankfully that's no longer the case and I hope you do get around to giving it a shot sometime, though it is rather a time commitment and backlog is a MOOD sob

Also after reading your description, finally I'm not the only one I know who got into Xenoblade because of the music, I remember listening to a 4 hour long mix of Nintendo music while studying in high school 7 or so years ago. Throughout that entire mix there were only 2 tracks that just really stuck out and grabbed my attention, which were the title theme and Agniratha. I noticed they were both from the same game, did some searching, and found Chugga who also introduced me to your channel! Really cool story looking back on it, this feels like its come full circle back to Agniratha again lol

I'm TOTALLY with you on the Main theme--that one and Beyond the Sky constantly vie for first place with Agniratha for Best Xenoblade Theme in my mind, with Elysium in the Blue Sky from XB2 an extremely close second lmao. It really means a lot from another Agniratha fan lol that we did this track justice, I really feel like I struggled with this one for so long because it was SO important to me to get it right. So thank you for that validation!! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!!

Wow that was incredible. I can definitely relate to your comment about going music -> game. I know the context of the music makes such a strong impact on my reaction/enjoyment of the piece. And probably is a more fair take as, they are not just composed/arranged in a vacuum. The Xenoblade series is one I have never gotten around to playing, mostly because it was always that 1 used copy in the store when I was a kid that cost more than some full price games. This definitely makes me reconsider it's place on the backlog. Also amazing collaborators!

Such an important point that I'm glad you made, that they're not composed independently of context, and which is why it heightens and informs the listening experience so much more to know the context, though they can be enjoyed on their own merit as well!!!! hahaha understandable that Xenoblade was not the most accessible series when it first came out--I bought a used copy for the Wii around 2017 for like 50 bucks!!! USED!!!! Thankfully that's no longer the case and I hope you do get around to giving it a shot sometime, though it is rather a time commitment and backlog is a MOOD sob
