Maybe it's just me, but I miss the implimentation of both tough solar and multiband 6. This would be a great entry level to have both. Bluetooth should be optional, I already have enougfh things to connect to my phone like headphones etc. Seems like Casio is really phasing MB6 out now?
I ordered the gray one. It's a cool watch, but it was too small imo. I didn't even wear it and ended up selling it. After having the gray one in hand, I do like the looks of the green better
I think this watch exists in an awkward spot. It’s not cheap, but it should be. They should have stripped away the Bluetooth and step tracker and offer it at a lower price.
Really I don't understand.....a watch should be connected with a phone in order to count the steps???? So.....why not to use just a phone with some step count app and buy a normal G? If a big wrister put that thing at the wrist, that bezel will just fly away, that's extremely stupid design.....obviously some modern Casio designer designed that thing under the influence of mushrooms...a bezel with a good old screws is the only bezel G should have. That's just the expensive toy, very expensive for what it is. A reflection at that screen is disgusting....I think I would throw it away in the bin after about 15 seconds, I'm pretty sure. Who's a targeted buyers of that watch? A babies?
I totally agree on the mushrooms part. I guess they're betting people with big wrists won't be interested anyway. Besides, the big G is still there. This just another option.
No matter the new G-SHOCKs, they suck!!👎🏽 The after-sales service 👎🏽 and these watches do not survive battery changes, despite all the precautions to be taken (seals, anti-static tweezers)! NEVER AGAIN will I buy G-SHOCK watches!!
Sounds like me when the first time I sent my g shock for battery replacement. The shop broke my limited edition ga-110ps movement. Even when things go well, the price is way too high. Thats why I always do it all myself. I use almost zero precautions, zero problems. These gshock movement is fool proof. Which makes me wonder what actually goes wrong in the shop.

Just the casing though, if you actually measure the display portion, it is a square.

It's actually really legible. That's the one I bought.
This is something that needed to be seen in person, anyway, casio makes similar mirrors display gshock before as well, they were fine.
