Yeah. She provokes death everywhere she goes. And I'm feel deeply sad for her innocents victims whose never ask anything too. A poisonous gift, an uncontrollable power, a path of misery.
no, medusa served on the side of Athena, (one of the virgin gods) so medusa promised to be a virgin forever, all the gods adored her and loved medusa because she was so beautiful. medusa ignored them until Poseidon showed feelings, medusa loved Poseidon as well, so they had an affair, when Athena found out she was enraged. she then cursed Athena by turning her hair into serphants and gave her a face so hideous that anyone to look her in the eyes would turn to stone. Yes, it was a little unfair. But it was also her fault, the video isn't accurate- probably just a little "what if" situation
@@mostpro4745 I guess that's another version of the story, but what I heard is the one where Medusa was raped, idk Up to each since this is a legend. They can alter overtime.
Greek mythology was based on the daily struggles of the Greeks, the tale of Medusa was made to warn women that if they were ever raped or abused they were likely to be the victims of retribution instead of the perpetrators, it like the tale of red riding hood, red riding hood is a tale to warn women that if they went to the woods by themselves then a “wolf” may appear, meaning a man, the tales of mythology are all just horror tales
When we were young, we were told the stories of how Good defeats Evil, how Evil shall suffer, how Medusa got the curse by the great God Athena, how she did wrong and killed, how Hades kidnapped Persephone for his own will, how Arachne deserved what she got. This used to be our main lesson in every story...... But what if the only difference was who was telling it? You may be the Hero to everyone, but there will always be at least one person who thinks of you as a villain.
This story seems to follow the older and less popular version of Medusa’s backstory, she and the other gorgans were born as gorgans from a titan. Someone got mad at Athens and said Athena caused a woman to become a monster.
this is the most human version of Medusa i've even seen, in this story she not is a monster, instead is a victim of unjust circunstances, and the loneliness, but is enough strong to live a life by herself, is very tough but is a necessary to survive, although enduring a painful existence, her relationship with her snakes is like with different persons or a family being more precise, despite those beings are part of her, really is a very beautiful story but also a very sad one , this is a unforgettable tale of the humanity within the ones are look different on the outside.
The original myth, at least the ones we know also follows that line. Medusa too was cursed by the gods to be alone for all her days. She was a victim of the gods pettiness and ego. Her entire existence she was shunned from society for obvious reasons and forced to live in seclusion. Unfortunately in the original myth she became the monster everyone thought her as. Honestly I don't know if she ever had the chance to not be a monster. In the end though, she was both the victim and the perpetrator in a long line of hatred. The human experience really.
Sometimes...? Most of the times, in fact. They only do think about, what bring them to the "dark side", if they personally know each other before, and they were at a neutral/friendly relationship with each other - otherwise they come to a decision, that it is a villain, which deserve to be destroyed, either by other's tales or if they know it, but wasn't in good terms, they say to themselves that 'I already know it was a bad person, when we first met!" The so called 'heroes' far too much degree doesn't know the meaning of "objective viewpoint".
Dan 14k Athena is a jerk she made a blunder punishing someone for someone else's mistake is not wise Poseidon should have been the one punished not Medusa she was innocent she was raped by Poseidon Athena's no goddess of wisdom she's an idiot she should have gotten the facts first before she even punished anybody if she's the goddess of anything's it's stupidness she's lucky I didn't live in her time. I would have shut down her temples and destroyed her statues all the Greek / Roman gods and goddesses were experts in stupidness the truth is they were just powerless works of art they had real no power they were just images nothing more just like all the other ancient and modern cultures with gods and goddesses beautiful works of art nothing more and I mean no offense any Hindus out there if anyone wants to believe that those beautiful artworks have power that's their choice but I know for a fact in my heart that they're just beautiful images of artwork nothing more oh and by the way the so-called hero that killed Medusa is nothing more than a murderer I don't blame her for hating people after what they did to her
I watched this one story years ago, and it was about how sad and lonely Medusa was because everyone who saw her turned to stone or tried to kill her, but one day she found a blind baby in a village and she raised it as her daughter
I love this re-invention of Medusa's story... It's so sensitive and gives it a more personal aspect. I really wish I had your artistic talent! Thank you for sharing it with us!
The fact that Medusa's mother still kept smiling looking at her baby even though she knew that she could be turned into stone touched me the most ❤❤❤ THAT IS MOTHER'S LOVE.
Medusa is one of my favorite characters in Mythology, and my family asks me ”why, like she was a monster who killed people” She never wanted to, the gods were unfair to her, and she didn't know how to control her power. It's not her fault that she's this way. So many people attacked her for the way she looked cause they saw her as a threat, but in all, they were the threat to her. They didn't like how she looked nor did they understand her. If only they had seen that she wasn't any harm to people, then perhaps her fate could have turned out differently. I'm so sorry this was long.
Originally the story goes that she was a beautiful nimf and got raped by poseidon in the tempel of athena Athena got angry/jealous and cursed medusa when she realised that she made a dangerous monster of medusa she send people to kill her. To be honest I think medusa is the good guy and athena and Poseidon the villians
@@femkelamberts9167 Not only was she raped in Minerva's temple, she was actually her servant which was another reason why the goddess took so much offense. The fact that, in Greek and Roman myth so many beautiful women were raped by gods then punished by goddesses is a pity and a sin. It's unfortunate too how much those stories mirror today's rape culture.
The fact that the real Medusa story is about a curse given by one of the Gods that can help a lady protect herself and this is about a gorgon girl with her snake hair protecting her... Both stories are beautiful
also the other story, about a god giving her powers to protect herself wasn't a thing, in the roman version she was cursed by Athena to be ugly bc medusa was SA in the temple of Athena by Poseidon and Athena was offended, even tho medusa was praying for protection and forgiveness, the roman versions of the greek myths where made dramatically because aparently a greek-turned-roman writer hated the greeks and the mythology lol so he makes fun of it like Hercules, but his real actual name is Heracles
The mith Of medusa in greek mithology is nota beautiful Athena hates her cause of her Beauty, she had a friend who loves her and she loved him as well but she rejected him for her devotion to Athena and he undertend, later poisedon abuse Of her in Athena temple to take revenge for the fact than the athenas city was nota given to him, and Athena angry for the act than happen in her temple curse her with the snakes and evereyone who SEE her Will be stone the first one was her friend who loved when he found her
@@MarcPlayYatagarasuUm... no. Like, not at all. In the original Greek version, Medusa is born a monster; then there is another where she is human and then becomes a Gorgon, but the relationship with Poseidon is absolutely consensual; the version that everyone takes as good and like the original one (when it isn't even remotely so) was written by Ovid during the period of the Roman Empire.

Please promise you'll work for a professional company one day and get full respect for what you do as there is enormous potential, and paired with the beautiful music, this had me almost crying. It can speak to anyone who has been bullied or abused, or maybe regrets those who have been. I like as well that the people attacking Medusa genuinely don't understand her and she is surprised at how people view her as a monster. Keep up the wonderful work! :)
Medusa's story can be seen as the prejudice that still exists with snakes that they are demonic creatures, without love and feelings. They are just misunderstood beings. And many other stories are like Medusa's, injustices they don't want us to know about.
Animation studios need to step up their game, they can't just have people on TH-cam step up their story ideas over and over again. I'd pay good money to see this as a movie or show
I see comments like this a lot on animations like this and he there’re your coming from but I disagree. I think that the way this story is shown might be difficult to flesh out, even as a short one. This short re-telling of the myth is really raw and I thinks that’s perfect.
Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure that in the original myth Medusa's curse was that any who looked on HER would turn to stone, not who SHE looks at, but then again I might be wrong.
That's how people are in this world they judge others on how they look not on the heart people in this world don't see each other for who we really are children of our heavenly father every single one of us if only we could put aside our differences the world would be a better place than it is now

Actually, from what I know according to Greek Mythology, Medusa wasn’t born this way. If I remember correctly, the reason she ended up like she did was due to a huge misunderstanding on the gods’ parts. When Medusa was still a normal woman, she had wanted to become a priestess of the goddess Athena, the Greek god of strategic war - and she did. She went on to become one of the most dutiful priestesses to Athena there was. However, she had also grown to become exceptionally beautiful. Athena soon grew angry, because men had started visiting her temple to hear Medusa preach, not for their love of Athena but to be an audience to her beauty and exceptional voice. However, what was the straw that broke the camel’s back was when Poseidon had too grown an interest in the young woman - but for more... personal, reasons. Now you see, Athena was one of the Greek goddesses who had sworn off men, which meant they never were married nor ever procreated with them. In order to become a priestess of Athena, you had to follow the goddess’s example and also swear off men, which Medusa did. I’m not sure about before she became a priestess, but I know that she never mingled with any man during her time of being a priestess. Poseidon, however, messed all of that up though. He had also become mesmerized by the Medusa’s beauty, and like Greek gods often did, he ascended the earth to, uh, “have some fun” with Medusa. However, as I mentioned, Medusa was loyal to her Goddess, and ran away from Poseidon when he approached her. In fact, I think she even threw a clay pot at him. A hot pursuit entailed, and I believe Poseidon cornered her into Athena’s temple, where Medusa often preached. There, he had his way with her. This was obviously a huge insult to Athena, as not only did one of priestesses break their oath (to stay away from men), but they broke it *within her own temple*. She was outraged, and unleashed her anger upon poor Medusa - turning her into a monster (I think she was mad at Poseidon too - and that this became one of the versions reasons she hated Poseidon in the myths - but she couldn’t take it out on him as he was a god. Not sure tho.). So, Medusa became the beast she was - snakes for hair, with the curse of turning people into stone should they look her in the eye, blah blah blah. People hated her, and she ran away. (Things after this become a bit murky, sorry if they’re incorrect-) She found a ruined building, where she made her hideout. Many went there to try and kill her, but never succeeded. One day, exploring the grounds of the ruined building, she came across the head of a statue - the head of Athena. The ruined building was one of Athena’s temples, broken down and forgotten. Medusa transformed the place, caring for it like she did the old temple she worked at, worshipping Athena regularly. Athen saw this, and realized her mistake, and saw Medusa for the honest worshipper she was. Even after what she had made Medusa, the girl continued to worship her. Although, Medusa didn’t live forever. One fateful day, Perseus (a son of Poseidon, I think) came with an army and killed her brutally. To honor the death of the loyal priestess, Athena immortalized Medusa and her story upon her own shield - Medusa’s head being the centerpiece. The whole story is why Medusa is honestly one of the most interesting characters in the mythology there is. Sorry it came out so long hskdj
This is meant to be more of a "What if that story everyone knows of Medusa was a lie, and Perseus was no hero, just some jackass who tried to kill a scared little girl who couldn't control her powers", I believe. I've never heard the version where Athena realized her mistake, that's actually really cool!
No sé mucho inglés pero al menos entendí la parte en que dices que Madusa realmente no nació así y pues me alegra saber encontrar a alguien de cultura aquí uwu
Actually, Medusa was born a Gorgon alongside her Gorgon sisters according to the Theogony (basically the greek creation myth). She was the only one of her sisters born mortal but she was born as a woman with snake locks. Later renditions, notably the Roman writer Ovid, would paint her as a tragic victim
I love this so much I CRIED!! This is so amazing and pulls at the heart in so many good ways. I love hearing a different side to it. All I thought was that she was greedy when I read about her but seeing this side of it is so different and unique. Makes me want to look at things in different perspectives.
In the original mith she was a beautiful woman and Posidon fell in love with her and wanted her for himself alone. She tried to hide in Athena's temple, and the goddess (for some weird reason) turned this woman into a monster that we know.
@@alekslic3385 Because Athena can't punish Poseidon because he's a more powerful god so she punished the mortal plus her sisters making the gorgons. Also, mortals are just easier to mess with and every other deity has done it throughout mythology.
For what its worth. You posted this on birthday. The first one I had after losing my mother. It's a sad story because no one would ever understand her. This is a great animation and deserves a big thumbs up. I guess... She's broken now, I don't know what to make up on how she is like this now, but I can tell the anger drives people to do reckless things. I hope we can all understand that.

@@Din021 nooo she was raped, she ran to athenas temples to seek for help but was ignored, Medusa was raped by that damn god and was cursed by athena afterwards.
@@kayematildeposo2141 That's true! She was one of Athena's soon to be priestess, so she was giving her soul and body to the service of her goddess. She was a very beautiful girl, soo beautiful that many men tried to lure her into marriage, she refused, but Poseidon was lustful of her, soo he tried to have her, but when she refused, was later raped by him in one of Athena's temples. When the goddess found out, she blamed ot on Medusa for being beautiful, therefore, she took away what people loved the most about her, her hair and eyes, and made her look horrible, with a demarcated face, soo that no one will no longer lust or desire her. She was punished for for being a woman with no power to defend herself against a god. She was punished for being raped in a temple and was punished for being beautiful. No one could be near her, for she will turn them into stone. And to top it, she was sent to exile, away from civilization, creating a monster from a devoted servant. And she was still expected to honor the gods that put her in that position. Something that she, in her mind could not see happening, turning herself into the monster that she was expected to be.
Not really. Medusa was a beautiful pure girl, who wanted to be a priestess in Athena's(God of war) temple. But Poseidon raped her, and nobody believed her when she claimed that Poseidon(God of Sea and Athena's lover) had raped her, Athena had always been jealous of Medusa's beauty and her long straight silky hair. She got the chance and cursed her and made her hair turn into venomus snakes and also made sure she would be forever alone by giving her the eyes, Medusa was thrown out of the realm, and she was later killed by so called Prince, However her head was always used for justice, in wars to make enemies stone. So she was a good human being, but people always misunderstand her..
Medusa is only the bad guy because that’s how other people view her. She can’t always control what she does. The only reason she really does it Is because no one really understands her, She just wants friends, someone to confide in. This is one of the most beautiful takes on Medusa I've ever seen. P.S. I got more sad from the snake dying that I would from dog dying in a movie. R.I.P snakey ♡

@Evedraw 0000 hartono The deer depicted appear to be white-tailed deer. If that is the case, then the one with horns is a male. It is likely the doe was his mate, but given the size difference, it could have easily been his daughter. No spots, though, so I'm thinking it was his mate.
When the deer died and its dad came up to it and saw what happened I couldn't help but blub. I'm crying now but don't get the wrong idea it's a beautiful story and an amazing piece of work!
I think if Medusa was able to fall in love with a blind person who was an awesome warrior would be rad. Removing the notion of how superficial ugliness can still find love and be cherished by those who "look" for something deeper. @Jun Chiu, it's too early on a Sunday morning for these feels. Well done and all the best on your future stories.
Yes, I want a Medusa Movie which tells the whole story from her perspective, and when the blind person comes in she first gets defensive since she feels like they will be a threat, since most people visiting came to see the "monster" and to attack her, only to realize that the other person doesn't even know who she is and can't see her, so the other person gets to know her and they talk with each other and get close, my heart would melt at a movie like this and honestly, Medusa deserves it
The actual story is: In the Greek times, (the version I read about) there was a sea monster called cetus. Then a young man wanted to Defeat the monster, his name was Perseus by the way. Someone told him to go to Medusa's cave, and get her head. On the way, he met 3 different witches, who wanted his eyes, as they had eye sockets and one eye ball they shared. But Perseus threatened them and told them, "I will slince the eye if you don't tell me where Medusas cave is!" So they told him. He arrived. Then he managed to shop her head off! When he got back to the town, he saw the beautiful princess on a cliff with a crowd of people (she was Perseus's crush). Apparently, they were going to need to feed her to cetus, so she nearly got ate. But, Perseus managed to get the head and made cetus look at her eyes and he slowly turned, to stone. So that's the story of Perseus and the Gorgon! The end

True ! I think it happens with SOME ppl, they are good for others but in return others ppl hurt them só much that they Turn in to " villain" BC they feel hurt. Love can turn in to hate.
The original medusa wasn't a villain btw! She was raped in her goddesses temple, and said godess (athena) gave her the curse so she would never be taken advantage of again.
I just get goosebumps when I read the comments. The way that people just give their opinions and what they think about it is just amazing before they are all differents. Bravo, you've made a great animation. I actually felt bad for the deers and for Medusa herself. When she lost a important member of her "family" which is the snakes, I felt so sad for her because I also lost one of my parents.
Having powers to turn people into stone when they look into your eyes is sad. Imagine growing up with that kind of power; you can never look at the people you love, you can never look at your pet without petrifying them. Medusa had to go through just that and the fact that she's a KID in this makes things worse. I don't think she deserves to grow up with that trauma. This semi-long monologue in brief is just me saying that I'm crying my eyes out right now. Edit: Also *sees soldiers attack her* DUDE SHE'S JUST A KID!!!!
it would not change the old Greek story, as she is based on the old greek story. as well its hard to make her a hero, as she is toxic to all living things
There actually is a series of book about a modern Medusa, which places her as the protagonist, and it's a really good story, it's called Darkness Becomes Her, by Kelly Keaton ^^
@@GuiltyFaT the myth only tells of her stone curse and it's supposed origin, the rest is third person narratives surrounding her curse and how it affects others which is one sided and full of plot gaps. It lacks actual characterization and can be open for interpretion.

Medusa was a bit of an accidentally sympathetic character in the original story. More legit story suggest she had been a r*** victim at the hands of Poseidon (Poseidon is so evil, he makes Satan look like Abe Lincoln) and was punished for it by Athena. Not to mention, Perseus was just a glorified Hitman and killed Medusa in her sleep while she was pregnant. So yeah, good to know Greek mythology didn't really catch on.
Poisedon is the personification of the sea/ocean so he's as ruthless as the sea. The ocean at the height of a storm can be a lot more evil than Satan I guess.
It should also be noted that, ironically, Hades was one of the nicer Greek gods compared to his younger brothers. Sure, he got stuck with the Underworld, but he was actually quite passive, didn't care much for anything going on outside his domain, and only became wrathful whenever someone tried to cheat death somehow. From my knowledge, he never raped anyone...although he did kidnap Persephone to have her as his wife, so he certainly isn't perfect, either. Disney really did him dirty.
The thing about the Poseidon rape story is that it is actually the LEAST legit version of the Medusa origin. It was written by the Roman Ovid in his Metamorphosis, and Ovid had a bit of an agenda. Every version of every myth he told made the gods as irrational, unsympathetic and unfair as possible. Granted, most of the Greek gods weren't particularly kind or empathetic to begin with, but Ovid turned that up to eleven. This seems to be a reaction to the fact that he was exiled by Augustus, and thus he was projecting a bit. The older versions of the myth paint the Gorgons (Medusa and her sisters, Euryale and Stheno) as the daughters of Echidna, mother of monsters, and thus they always were monsters. Not entirely unsympathetic, though, as they were simply born that way. Also, Medusa's sisters were quite broken up by her death.
hey, this is just for if you like Greek Mythology, but this is not how Medusa became Medusa. She was raped in Athena's temple and the other Gods thought she had to be punished by Athena, so Athena was peerpessured by them to do something. So Atena gave her 2 options, 1 die, 2 lose her beauty, but she would be able to protect herself. Medusa chose for the second option and fled to Poseidon's seas where she birthed 2 children from her rapist. I think it was Pegasus and another. I'm not entirely sure. but then she was beheaded by a demi-god (don't remember him either 😅) and he used her head and children to fight others later in his story. Which is honestly awful. But Greek women actually saw her a hero since she stayed strong even after she was raped, but the men saw her as a monster and foolish for giving up her beauty. So she wasn't actually born this way and her story is even sadder. Tho if Disney would make a movie of her story it would probably be as bad as Hercules
@@maxime9158 Part of that is accurate, and part of it is muddled. According to mythology, Medusa was one of three daughters born of the titans Ceto and Phorcys. She was by far the most beautiful, but a virgin priestess. Here is where it gets messy... Some mythology states that she had an affair, some says Poseidon raped her. Either way, Athena, who's temple it was that Medusa was in at the time, cursed her as punishment for the offense. Her sons, Pegasus and Chrysaor were born of her blood when it hit the sea spray. There are two tales to how that came to pass. Once when Poseidon was courting her, and the other says after she was beheaded. She was seen as a monster, but yet respected as an image of womanhood. It is interesting to see interpretations of mythology. To me, Ancient Greek mythology has always been my favorite.

True true
Supposedly a god raped her or sum, and then the god of Mercy, thought that Medusa seduced him, so she turned her into the monster. Idk I kinda forgot
Except for hades that nigga cool
When we were young,
we were told the stories of how Good defeats Evil,
how Evil shall suffer,
how Medusa got the curse by the great God Athena,
how she did wrong and killed,
how Hades kidnapped Persephone for his own will,
how Arachne deserved what she got.
I mean... Wasn't Hades just lonely? Also his and Persephone's relationship is literally the healthiest out of all the Greek Gods, no?
Don't blame Hades. Blame Eros and Aphrodite.
@@DraidensDen That's probably only because Ero casted a spell on Hades and Hades gave Persephone a pomegranate.
Poor girl..
this is the most human version of Medusa i've even seen, in this story she not is a monster, instead is a victim of unjust circunstances, and the loneliness, but is enough strong to live a life by herself, is very tough but is a necessary to survive, although enduring a painful existence, her relationship with her snakes is like with different persons or a family being more precise, despite those beings are part of her, really is a very beautiful story but also a very sad one , this is a unforgettable tale of the humanity within the ones are look different on the outside.
The human experience really.
sometimes the "hero" never thinks about the "villains" point of view...
Sometimes...? Most of the times, in fact. They only do think about, what bring them to the "dark side", if they personally know each other before, and they were at a neutral/friendly relationship with each other - otherwise they come to a decision, that it is a villain, which deserve to be destroyed, either by other's tales or if they know it, but wasn't in good terms, they say to themselves that 'I already know it was a bad person, when we first met!"
The so called 'heroes' far too much degree doesn't know the meaning of "objective viewpoint".

@@MFool64 i don't know if there is one, but the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints (Mormonism) says that all of us where in heaven before god created the earth (during that time it was known as the premortal existence) heavenly father/God told everyone a plan called the plan of salvation. now Lucifer (which means son of the morning.) wanted for God to force every one to be good, but god knew that we would learn nothing. so Lucifer got mad and left our heavenly father with 1/3 of the hosts of heaven. and god and all the hosts of heaven wept, for, the son of the morning was lost.

I can feel the depression and loneliness that she feels, the feeling of not fitting in. That's deep especially that piano playing gives that touch.
It’s so sad how the snakes were just trying to protect her, but killed peoples in doing so, which just made her more sad in the process
The origin story of Medusa is heart breaking.
And this is another heart breaking version.....a child version.
The unwanted child version. No child should endure such suffering.
Seriously tho
She did not grow up as a monster she was a human while she was growing up this video is not realistic
Deep
actually, the statue was her mother, if you read the comic. it’s way sadder tho
Poseidon and medusa were together in athena temple then athena saw and gave her snakes
This is one of the most beautiful takes on Medusa I've ever seen.
P.S. I got more sad from the snake dying that I would from dog dying in a movie. R.I.P snakey ♡
It's just stop sad
I mean it soo sad

This actually made me cry especially when momma snake was killed ;-;

this is such a beautiful story, it made me cry. thank you so much, now I look at medusa from a different perspective
I started to cry when the snake died. That was like her best friend. Sure she had the other snakes, but that one snake was always looking out for her. ;,(
What if that snake was her mother?😭

It was all so sad when the deer got turned to stone
I almost cried when the other deer looked at his baby..
Same here
Evedraw 0000 hartono ok?
@Evedraw 0000 hartono Almost no deer species have females with antlers, only reindeer. So I think it's a male deer.
@Evedraw 0000 hartono The deer depicted appear to be white-tailed deer. If that is the case, then the one with horns is a male. It is likely the doe was his mate, but given the size difference, it could have easily been his daughter. No spots, though, so I'm thinking it was his mate.
@@Krabbeltje There are actually four deer species where the females grow antlers: fallow deer, reindeer, elk, and red deer.
Even though it's nowhere near to the original story, I really appreciated this video.
I'm glad someone else knows this is not the original story as well. The original was way, way, way worse. And there was no damn deer.
Big mood lol I was like hmmmm this isn’t at all her story but it was hella cute lol
This just proves the saying of “People aren’t evil, they are just misunderstood”, and therefore violence and death aren’t the answer.
When the deer died and its dad came up to it and saw what happened I couldn't help but blub. I'm crying now but don't get the wrong idea it's a beautiful story and an amazing piece of work!
I think they were mates, but yeah same ;_;
I'm pretty sure it was the deers mom
Charles Thorkildson Does don't have antlers 😑 It was a Doe and a Buck
Oh...my..sosp...I don't like that 🐍
How why Medusa you have forsakon me and turned me into stone
I think if Medusa was able to fall in love with a blind person who was an awesome warrior would be rad. Removing the notion of how superficial ugliness can still find love and be cherished by those who "look" for something deeper. @Jun Chiu, it's too early on a Sunday morning for these feels. Well done and all the best on your future stories.
Yes, I want a Medusa Movie which tells the whole story from her perspective, and when the blind person comes in she first gets defensive since she feels like they will be a threat, since most people visiting came to see the "monster" and to attack her, only to realize that the other person doesn't even know who she is and can't see her, so the other person gets to know her and they talk with each other and get close, my heart would melt at a movie like this and honestly, Medusa deserves it
medusa’s story isn’t like that, but this versión touch my heart💖
The real story is that athena find out that her uncle poseidon was taking a stir with her priestess, athena got angry and she turned her into meduza
Preach! This story isn't true but I still cried! I feel really sorry for her!
The actual story is:
In the Greek times, (the version I read about) there was a sea monster called cetus. Then a young man wanted to
Defeat the monster, his name was Perseus by the way. The end

Lol ikr
Dude, I allways wanted a story from the perspektive from a monster, but, this was too heartbreaking.
If there is a movie to be done, let it be this!
I appreciate how he felt compassion once he saw medusa was just a kid and not some violent ball of snakes.
Don't know why every villains have a sad story 😭😭😭
True ! I think it happens with SOME ppl, they are good for others but in return others ppl hurt them só much that they Turn in to " villain" BC they feel hurt. Love can turn in to hate.
Because they're once a good person.
The original medusa wasn't a villain btw! She was raped in her goddesses temple, and said godess (athena) gave her the curse so she would never be taken advantage of again.
This why I always pity villains. They sometimes misunderstood. They become bad because people do them bad first.
Because with out a sad story they can't be villains
This was so beautiful .. it deserves to be a 2 hours movie directed by you :"

Sorry, can you tell me the name of this movie ok?
This a really good example of a show don’t tell story. The music, the expressions, the imagery, the lack of dialogue. It all works

Edit: Also *sees soldiers attack her* DUDE SHE'S JUST A KID!!!!
same thing with "curse of Midas" (everythingh you touch turns to gold)

No I know, but most of the comment section talks as if this is the original story.
Same, I cried

I wish in our modern world someone create a story or movie about Medusa being a protagonist that might change the old greek story.
it would not change the old Greek story, as she is based on the old greek story.
as well its hard to make her a hero, as she is toxic to all living things
Well, I have managed to turn a few "villains" into heroes, so this may be my next big challenge.
There actually is a series of book about a modern Medusa, which places her as the protagonist, and it's a really good story, it's called Darkness Becomes Her, by Kelly Keaton ^^
yo dont lose hope buddy. remember what they did to maleficent?
@@GuiltyFaT the myth only tells of her stone curse and it's supposed origin, the rest is third person narratives surrounding her curse and how it affects others which is one sided and full of plot gaps. It lacks actual characterization and can be open for interpretion.
One of the best Project I ever seen ! Very emotional and spectacular !
Please ! Producers, Disney, Netflix, someone with money ! Please ! Help Jun Chiu for this project to become a full animation movie !
@@embercoral atleast he married her.
Wait medusa was pregnant ? With version is that
I think this would make a beautiful game in so many ways. Even if deeply depressing.
Mind When Sees Thumbnail: Yay! I love some good Greek Mythology!
After Vid: 😭
hey, this is just for if you like Greek Mythology, but this is not how Medusa became Medusa.

I miss my dad too. I guess we have that in common. Losing parents is really hard. I still feel really sad about losing Dad, but you can work through the sorrow. Trust me. You are not alone. It is awful. Even though it happened 8 years ago, it still hurts. Just focus on all the good things that happen in your life and try your best to block out the bad. Sometimes, it's hard, but even though I don't know you, I believe that you can do it. I hope this helps.
My friend’s dog died,my friend’s family apparently had a couple choices to do with the dog, two of the choices were very expensive, but would have the chance of saving the dog,the third choice was the least expensive, the third choice was to let the vets just put the dog to sleep, give her the numbing thingies that numb pain, and just let her die. My friend’s family had to choose the third choice, they didn’t have enough money for the second or third choices. So they said good bye to Jessie and Jessie died a while after they said bye.
