good too see you back at the bench man... looking awesome
Thanks mate! Hopefully I can stay active again!
Welcome back!
Thank you! And thanks for watching 🙂
Good to see you back buddy. Build is looking awesome. Clear looks great and do what works for you and helps keep you enjoying the build. Look forward to this build as it continues.
Thanks mate! I'm really happy woth how it came out, to fair!
I always use gx. Glad to see you back.
I think it'll be my go to from now on. I was contemplating just building weathered stuff to avoid clear, but this has given me a reason not to.
Thanks for watching!
Long time no see! Very glad you've uploaded again. Hopefully there will be many more, I do really enjoy your videos
Thanks mate! I'm going to try and get this done in a timely manner, hahaa.
Thanks for your support!
Fully agree, 2k clear is too much hassle, I get results I'm happy with using aerosol or airbrush clear lacquers.
I agree. I've used this once or twice before, but this is the first time in over a year, going to refine my technique and hopefully make it even better.
Thanks for watching!
Nice to see you back Luke, about time. Welcome to the GX112 club, been using it for a while, really good stuff.
Thanks mate! I've used it a bit before, it just seems to lay down real nice and I get a finish I'm happy with, without all of the rigmarole or wet sanding. And, I was able to polish it within 3 days!
I can understand stopping a certain aspect of model building when it is no longer fun. I used to bare metal foil any chrome on a car model for years and then one day I was like "I really don't like doing this anymore" and I stopped completely. I thought your change of clears was successful 👍
Yeah, I've got two bodies in a drawer, 2kd, needing sanding and I just can't be bothered! One has all the running gear and underneath done, I just dont want to sand it, hahaa.
Thanks for watching!
Nice one Luke, I use GX112 as well, can't be bothered with the hassle of 2K for plastic models, I have achieved great finishes with the GX, I think it looks more 'scale' than 2K . PS I love the way you South Walians say 'glue'! Twin Town vibes.
I agree! I get how sometimes 2K can look out of scale in some circumstances, so glad this looks good!
Hahaa "Buy your own F'n glew!"
