We had HUGE brahmas on the land surrounding our property. I remember 2 times we didnt have to go to school cause the bulls were fighting at our bus stop.
@zmurfy420 that's cuz it is, grew up country till I was like 18, maybe 17 right before I turned 18, then I just started wanting to go see the world more than livestock and grass I guess lmao. Looked like she had a calf that was 4 or 5 months old. I’ve had my share of super aggressive mothers but they usually calm down after the calf is about a month old. The aggressiveness was more likely genetic and in this case comes from the Brahman breed. From what I’ve gathered from the rest of the beef industry if you don’t need the Brahman for the heat tolerance, don’t use them. Over all they are a pretty aggressive breed plus the meat is fairly low quality.
I love how this is a father's son business. And he is passing down his knowledge to his son. No need for ridiculously expensive colleges that teach you to hate our own country.
Yeah, but with lesser horns, and from the looks of it, way worse temper. But that might just be due to lack of respect for her, in India they usually have more freedom.
My mom grew up with long horns and other farm animals. I only grew up with a few horses and a donkey (who we ended up giving to my uncle since he had 2 others and he would have a happier life there) but my mom made sure to teach me and my siblings about owning all different kinds of animals. A horse won’t run into you if you stay still (they think your a poll) but Brahma’s…… THEY DONT GIVE A SHIT!!!!!! They couldn’t care less who or what you are they WILL take you out 😂😂😂😂
Big animals with a lot of mass. As a butcher ive seen them lift up two or three sections of those style fences when they dont wanna go where youre leading them
This reminds me of my first time dehorning and castrating. I was running a little guy down a chute and he turned around on me.
