Somewhere on Earth - Guatemala: • Amazing Quest: Stories...
Today Somewhere on Earth is going to drop anchor in Jamaica. The third largest island of the Antilles, is a land of majestic, tormented landscapes. In the north, there’s more than 200 km of coast open to the Caribbean rollers and the trade winds. The Jamaican mountains harbor an unspoiled world steeped in the strains of reggae music.
Adam is a real powerhouse. He draws his energy from the most remote corners of the island. A veteran caver and tireless hiker, Adam’s likes nothing more than exploring the surprising treasures of his island.
Howard, the River Rasta, lives in the Blue Mountains. Fisherman, farmer and singer, he invites us into his world, a realm of dusky forests and bright mornings.
Nakhlé came to Jamaica about 10 years ago. Born in Lebanon in the Middle East, he couldn’t imagine his life without the sea nearby. From his war-torn homeland he brought to Jamaica his passion for free diving.

I am a Jamaican, from the North Coast... It's such an amazing thing to see yall take the time to document our culture and interact with our people and environment in such a way to inform and show outside people across the globe that we are a country of love and harmony and they too should come and experience us for themselves... I am very overwhelmed with joy to watch this video... Oh, correction dwl "Christopher Columbus did not discover Jamaica, the Tainos did... Columbus has a bad habit of taking credit for himself. You cannot discover what had already been found, and what already belongs to someone" Love and respect to all the team who worked behind making this video a success.

True, Christopher Columbus was a mercenary...A thief, a liar and a murderer! You rightly said it, he did not discover Jamaica. Jamaica was already an inhabited island.

This is one of the best video I have seen on Jamaica. These three men are phenomenal. They are so passionate about the natural beauty of Jamaica. Nakhle loves the sea because he is from Lebanon. Eternal Father, we thank you for blessing our Land and for guiding us with your mighty hand. We pray that you will be a friend to everyone who is a friend of Jamaica and be an enemy to every enemy of Jamaica, including all criminals, those home and those abroad. Help us the cherish this land and it's people. We give Jamaica back to you, from riverside to mountain, from cane fields to the sea. Be our God and help us to be your people, in Jesus' name. Amen. 🙏 Jamaica 🇯🇲 Land we love ❤️.
People of Jamaica, let's take care of this place that has the world in awe. There's something magical about this place that we will not truly appreciate, until we have it no more.

A very beautiful Documentary Showing Jamaica and the people in a very positive light. I love the natural beauty of the environment, the picturesque rivers, and the raging sea which is relaxing to bathe in. This video brings back memories of my childhood living in the mountains of my country, bathing in the clean rivers, eating lots of mangoes and natural food from the mountains as well as what we grow.
