I'm the opposite sort of. Born in the states, raised in Jamaica until I was 20. Going to school I would have the pleasure of seeing the blue mountains every morning. Drove through the Blue mountains, visited the cockpit country and many beautiful areas of Jamaica during my upbringing. I'm returning home one day, I miss it very much.
Howard only takes what he needs from the river. This is a common sentiment expresses by indigenous and traditional communities I encounter in South Africa 🇿🇦 my home. My wish is that we return to Nature. Thank you for creating such a wonderful documentary.

@@djdtek5357 why should they do a story or documentary on crime, there are 14 parishes in Jamaica, most of these Parishes are very safe and people are living in there communities and enjoying the beauty of the Island, And yes there are areas where there is crime, just like any other country in world, so, maybe instead of just repeating what you are hearing, visit the island and rent a car and drive around for yourself. You may have a different attitude about Jamaica, it is a naturally beautiful Island.

I love the natural beauty of the environment, the picturesque rivers, and the raging sea which is relaxing to bathe in. This video brings back memories of my childhood living in the mountains of my country, bathing in the clean rivers, eating lots of mangoes and natural food from the mountains as well as what we grow. Nature is truly the best therapy for mankind.
