I have a Beholder with memorieloss in my campaign. He is a registered adventurer going by the name of Bob Holder, so everytime he's at a event with anouncers got to present B. Holder. XD

I'm with Connor on this one, I can't handle this episode. Too many hilariously dumb npcs between the beevis and butthead gazers and Jerry the flumph I'm frickin dying
on the bright side, flumps are one of the few psionic beings in the underdark that is rather positive, they survive by feeding off of and eliminating the negative mental activity of other orginisms, basically they live by helping u feel better

Nuttier than 1000 tons of squirrel shit, fruitier than the entire collective fruit section of all the known grocery stores of Earth, and so far around the bend that they've looped back and shared the tale with themselves from the past.
This... this is my favorite episode. Not the backstory ones, not the time where borky beheads the stupid sun general, not the gnoll wedding, not even the rug who's got a knife... THIS is the best episode for me so far.
Do you still like this one more than more recent episodes, say 141 Kermit to Your God? I still love Gazed and Confused, but Kermit to Your God was great.
My favorite are the festival episodes but this was amazing probably top 5 ( haven't seen past this yet ).

That has got to be one of the only times getting a Natural 1 on a Stealth check was better than getting a Natural 20.
Panic, you may want to pick up Leomund's Tiny Hut for you & the party. Ritual, 3rd level, 1 minute cast, 8 hr duration & Borky, Greckles & Task can still range attack from inside.

Great spell until the DM busts out creatures with a Burrowing Speed. Which considering they were in the Underdark would be a relatively high number of monsters.

He also wouldnt know that a gazer is a tint beholder though.

Beholder are weak.
The anti-magic cone also effects the eye rays.
Have the entire party withing the cone and it can't attack.
And if you are concentrating the spells return when the cone is off.
Panic casting blindness will shut off its stalks but not the antimagic so if it turns off the main eye it's blind.
Borky could just go ham while in the cone and task can shook from a distance.
Grackles can throw his daggers.
Beholder are easy to kill.

The animatic was what got me into the unexpectables and now I am proud to say I have fully watched the series up to this point

Looking at the Umber Hulk's Confusing Gaze it's not vague on how it work. Basically it would only take affect "IF" the creature starts within 30 feet of it and can see Umber Hulks eye's. So when Greckles Started outside that 30 foot range then when he moves into in even if it was looking at him it wouldn't take affect, but if he stays within 30 feet on his next turn and it eye's was locked onto him then he would have to choose to advert his gaze.
Anyway it was fine, the fight still went fine, but it would've worded it different. Instead of, "Starts it turn", the way it was being handle would've been worded, "Moves within." Of course Monty can rule however, but I was confused at how it seemed vague is all.

Fun fact. Umber hulks gaze only has a distance of 30ft. So panic and task had time where they could not even be affected by the gaze.

57:20 Zito, please read your own abilities. Hunter's mark specifically says it adds 1d6 to every attack. Sorry, but players asking their DMs for clarification instead of reading the abilities for themselves is one of my big pet peeves.
I thought Hunter's Mark proked with every weapon attack.
It does for some reason Zito keeps forgetting that, sometimes he also forgets that it lasts an hr so he could keep it on something marked so he doesnt have too burn through all his slots
