Woooooow this was exactly what I was looking for. I was trying to add this to all my wigs to replace all my old bands because I have alopecia and it’s hard to get combs and regular elastic bands to keep my wig down.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I got an Ashimary unit and they sent extra string but I was like how am I gonna do this. Those little end pieces popped off on both sides and I wasn't even pulling that hard. But it still works. Now I know how to install the draw strings. Girl, you're so beautiful. Classy. Question, because I’m misunderstanding something. The stoppers that you put on the end, how do you stop them from slipping off, do you knot it so that it ends on both sides to pull tight on each end? Or do you make it to where it’s a full loop and you just pull with one hand and tuck the strap underneath? Not sure if that question makes sense…

Once you get those the other side you add it.

You can leave space and then knot them at the end.
