hello! I'm looking to do something similiar myself. I would need to bring a modem and router into the storage unit to get my network setup and going, any recommendations? I'm assuming that they didnt allow you to drill any holes in the walls of the unit to install a coaxal socket, so can I ask how you setup your network?
Very nice setup! I am very curious how you are getting internet! I have zero cell reception and internet at my current storage unit. So I am not able to hot spot or anything of that matter. I am really just needing internet so that I can inventory my products for my online store. I did see that you mentioned that you had a T-mobile internet provider? Any insight on how I am able to get internet for my situation would be greatly appreciated!
Check at the store for the gateway he showed….they allow you to do 30 days trial and it’s about $50 monthly cost. We have 2 for our home because we have lots of devices inside the home connected and the other is for outside items, such as cameras.
Hello, i love the two main desks that are set up next to one another. I have been trying to find the same ones. Can you provide a link for them, i would like to purchase them for myself
I mean I do say in the video that internet is by T-Mobile, we got their business internet which is like the home internet where you get a cellular Wi-Fi home router it's that black router that I said was internet by T-Mobile.
Did you mention it to the staff at the self storage? I want to do the same. Another TH-camr said it is best to "ask for permission". I am sure they will notice once I am there on a daily for hours.
I did ask for permission, I still pay rent and I do all of the maintenance and cleaning requirements for the facility as I own a janitorial services company. Like we scrub the floor, sweep the entire property, take care of the weeds and general exterior building maintenance, replace the AC system filters with HEPA rated ones to cut down on dust to near zero ( that's monthly, 6 filters at 120 altogether) clean the restrooms, remove junk and transport it to the dump. And we do not charge the management for these services, we just get power and lights, plus I have to pay my employees to do the work, all the chemicals, sweeping pads and filters for the machines, cleaning chemicals and hand sanitizer for the whole facility. I think she's getting the better end of the deal here...
I did rent a 5x5 unit because when I mentioned I was renting the unit to record videos and I was told that they were rented with the agreement it is a “in and out visits”. I will be looking for another 10x20 unit else where, further, and keep my small unit for items I need access to near my home.
My suggestion is if you want to "get on managements good side" and have them let you use it for recording video, offer them something in return for allowing you to use the space in an unconventional manor, you'll still pay rent, but also do some task they need done for free. The barter system isn't dead, you just have to find the right person to barter with. It was easier for me to do so since I own a company with a lot of cleaning equipment and supplies to handle their needs. Maybe ask to do something simple like pull weeds or replace climate control system filters with high end ones, you can find just about any size and rating of filter through amazon and companies like FilterKing and FlterBuy.@@3blacky
Why are you gate keeping the power source? You clearly responded to other questions but are ignoring the common question about the power source. So annoying
so your getting free light and your using alot of power with all them computers that is not fair lights and lamps computers thats abuse i hope u paying them more for that usage

How do you get internet access in there?
It’s a mobile gateway that you can purchase from many carriers….this one is specifically from T mobile.

@@3blackymost places will now allow this. This guy gets to because he is providing a service to them.
My lights kept changing to his commands lol do they care about your office and whats your powersource
I can't tell you x 7
Okay, understood! Let's move on... oooo maaa gaaawd
My son's Alexa sounds all sexy, are there different settings?
Why are you gate keeping the power source? You clearly responded to other questions but are ignoring the common question about the power source. So annoying
This video kinda sucks because you didn’t say where your power source is and that’s a main thought
The power is provided by the storage company themselves.
Alexa says ok like a oppressed slave, weird
