Sea Trial: Aloha Spirit Twin Cummins QSB 6.7

In this video we take the aloha spirit out for a spin after upgrading her from twin QSB 5.9's to twin QSB 6.7's. The aloha Spirit is a 50 foot sport fishing boat operating out of the channel islands harbor. We also installed a new generator, and the owner and crew completely repainted and refreshed the boat. It's looking and running better than ever!

2600 rpm on a Diesel engine seems a bit much on the longevity. Doesn’t that hurt the motors raving them that high? I remember a 91 Atlantis cabin cruiser m11 spinning over 1700 at cruising speed.
