- The World Poker Tour (WPT) is a series of international poker tournaments and associated television series broadcasting the final table of each tournament. It was started in the United States by attorney/television producer Steven Lipscomb, who served as CEO of WPT Enterprises (WPTE), the firm that controlled the World Poker Tour up to November 2009. In 2008, the WPT started offering bracelets to its event champions. Players who won a title prior to the release of the WPT Bracelet, were given one retroactively.

They keep saying so and so only played a $1000, $100, $10 satellite to get into the final table. But what they don't say is how many of those satellites it took to get a seat.
I know this is 9 years old but I just had to say, this is SO true 😆 I competed in a satellite tourney where you had to finish in a certain place to move on to the next tournament and the final tournament you had to win 1st. I lost in the final tournament when I got my Aces crack by k2 off suit 💀

No, that's not how it works. The 3 on the turn gave Al a pair of 3's, so if the board paired, he'd have either 7's and 3's or kings and 3's. The highest 2 pairs play, which counterfeits the deuces that each of the players had. 7733K beats 7722A.
