I just binge watched all the videos here. Great photography and music selections! I liked the one that showed the lock the best, but all were good. I'd like to see more education about how river commerce works, what is carried, workings of the locks, types of barges, river navigation, and, oh, a thousand other things. I live in the foothills of NC so this could be quite an education. I have a dream to do the Great Loop, but alas, my wife gets motion sickness super easily. She is too valuable to me to give up for a vacation, even if it would be a year long.
Great video with 3 tows. Those birds likely thought your DJI Mini was some food. Too bad you lost the drone. Hopefully you had an extra coffee can available. 😉

Hard to believe the Jeffboat yard is gone now. For a time I docked a boat at that new marina in Louisville right across from Jeffboats. I like to look at the yard to see what was going on over there, especially when they launched a barge.
I assume the tow boats don't mind you flying around them? I see you keep a good distance and are very respectful of the tow boats. My youngest son just got a deal on a DJI Phantom 3 drone. He currently has it out in San Diego, CA while he is visiting his older brother.
Have you ever watched the Duluth harbor TH-cam ships coming into the harbor some neat ships and tugs. We go watch the tugs on the Mississippi River in guttenberg Iowa fun watching them come through the docks. Keep up the great videos

You aren't the only TH-camr I watch that has lost a drone in a lake or river. I think as murky as the Ohio is, finding yours might be next to impossible. Great shots with the new drone though.
