    I really enjoyed this tutorial.. Even though I have no experience I found it super interesting and the simple way you explain the workflow is really comforting.. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

    I am looking forward to waI never know how to texture hard meshes. Using Substance Painter or Blender, I don't know how to do it without UV Maps. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing with us.

    I so would have modeled those arms using the skin modifier, then joined it to the base and then sculpted the details. Came out good eventually but trying to use the hook brush took so much more time.

    This is amazing thank you so much for sharing it with us. Did you just use the smooth tool to smooth out the surface before you redid the bottom of the chalice?

    @sab_3d Great stuff! I love the organic and assymmetrical qualities in this piece. Where anyone could've hard surf-modeled this, not unlikely in a shorter amount of time, I think you took the more interesting path and sculpted everything. Subscribing to your channel, hoping for more of this great content.

    Do you know Zbrush? Is Blender something you chose over that for the sculpting?

    • @sab3d
      @sab3d  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I chose it mostly because I was already very familiar with Blender and Zbrush is not free software, If I ever get really into sculpting I'll probably check it out but we'll see

    • @JuanSanchez-ej7pb
      @JuanSanchez-ej7pb 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sab3d Zbrush has a free mode now AFAIK, Im curious about how effective it might be vs Blender. Either way, thanks so much for the video. Looking forward to the follow up

    • @delko000
      @delko000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JuanSanchez-ej7pb I think one of the major differences with blender is that zbrush can handle a lot more geometry than blender while remaining smooth and stable. But blender made massive progress imo. The fact that you can edit vertices and do hardsurface modelling without changing software in blender gives it an edge over zbrush in this area. I don't think zbrush is any good at hard surface modelling (in spite of zmodeller).
