I know you both love Disney J & J but…… what Mr Disney did to Winnie was, he AMERICANISED him!!! Arghhhhhhh….. and that really arks me! Mr Disney and the Disney Corp changed his appearance to be nothing like E H Shephard drew him and because of that claimed him as “their own….” 🤬🤬🤬🤬. He wasn’t “portly”, neither did he wear a shrunken red jumper and or speak in a gormless USA accent!! Humphhhh!! I love Ashdown Forest - that view over the South Downs “gulp” is just…. (I’m trying hard here, to think of poetic words to do it justice!) (schoolgirl epic fail - obvs I have no poetic skills apart from “the cat sat on the mat…wearing a hat..”) ‘breathtaking and stunning’ will have to do 😵💫🥺 I tried the Pooh sticks game …. I’m not a bitter loser at all….but honestly, the stream wasn’t flowing fast where I was standing and there were large clumps of sticks n moss in the way … and my stick wasn’t very sticky …. And I’m not saying I got the hump, but being laughed at by “the partner” because their stick floated like a yacht on a mill pond, sailing off into the sunset, and having the phrase “la La lah - Pooh stick champ meeee…” constantly sung into one’s ear, would irk a person 🤔 I now want some Winnie toast …with hunny of course! 😁
