Whenever I see you have a video on a fragrance I'm researching, I always queue it up because I know it'll be great.
However, there was that one time you suggested a parsley based fragrance... one of the worst I ever tried on my skin... (I'm just messing with ya)

I bought myself Italica last year for my birthday and I was amazed because it was the first gourmand where I can smell the texture of the toffee biscuits and it blew my mind. I got the biggest bottle they offered lol
YES! I agree! Italica and Lira by Xerjoff are two of the all-time greatest gourmands ever constructed! Its hard for me to choose between these two from this house...but Xerjoff, Gallagher, By Kilian and NOW Navitus to me, are the houses to check out if you really wanna smell like something delectable! Because, if you want just a few great gourmands to choose from in your collection - Lira might satisfy the category of sweet, gooey, caramel, cakey goodness. You wouldn't need both Italica and Lira...However, if you are like myself and gourmands are LIFE and make up a great portion of your fragrance collection - there are enough differences imo to justify buying both. Lira is the Lemon Pound Cake drizzled in caramel and Italica is like an almond biscotti that you are just dipping into a tub of caramel and eating...LOL!

Xerjoff is an absolutely fabulous fragrance house.
The most beautiful bottle designs and the most amazing and magnificent perfumes. Naxos, Lira and Mefisto are in my top 5 perfumes of all time (along with Invasion Barbare and Tihota)

I adore Itallica, I dont think I have come across any Xerjoff I haven't liked. This one is a prized scent in my collection.

Is this a better gourmand than Hufflepuff? Cause I haven’t smelled anything that smells as good, not even Love.
I actually hate Italica lol, it smells like poison to me and I cannot stand it. Almond as a fragrance note is vile to me lol so makes sense. My favorite gourmand from Xerjoff is Symphonium, it's one of my all-time favorite scents, though I do find I can't wear it super often; I think for me gourmands are good in moderation.

I don’t know if you are aware but there is probably a genetic link due to the almond scent in Italica. There are some people that cannot smell almonds and others that only smell the bitterness in the smell. It’s similar to the genetic link between cilantro. Those that taste soap are predisposed to that taste and can never taste anything else while others don’t. The human body is amazing.

I wore Naxos this morning for first time . I was not impressed I don’t know what happens with me and xerjoff I can’t smell them too much . I just wore jpg ultra male and wow it’s like x4 times stronger not sure ….

Maybe anosmic to some, I am anosmic to a few perfumes like Perfum De Marly and Narciso Rodriguez cannot smell them after 20 minutes but others can smell me.

Yes! This one came out in 2021 I believe, and they both smell the same apparently. There is a change to the texture of the bottle

Italica just did not do it for me. I remember when it first came out I spent a crazy amount for just a sample and was so disappointed. Something in it was very bitter to my nose…I think it was the saffron.
