I boxed as an amateur when I was in my teens. Couldn’t compete after 18 due to nasty knee issues. However, that boxing mentality of never giving up has always stuck with me. When I was doing my undergrad as an electrical engineer I sometimes felt like giving up but couldn’t. I just couldn’t see myself as a quitter. My biggest critic was me.

The Crawford Canelo fight sounds like pure fantasy to me. At 37 for Crawford who has had only one fight
at 154 to go up to 168 and truly challenge Canelo is ridiculous. If Crawford were bigger and could realistically
fight at 168 I'd pick him. Since he has to go up 13 additional pounds to get to super middle weight It sounds like
nothing more than a money grab for Crawford. It wouldn't be competitive.

What is ridiculous is people not giving Crawford any chance. In my view he is an all time great. This is nothing new. Many fighters have jumped weights classes and won titles. Roy Jones was a small light heavyweight and gave up over 30 pounds to win the heavyweight title. Michael Spinks did the same jumping from light heavy to heavyweight. Thomas Hearns went from 154 title holder up to 175 to beat a dominant champion and then back down to 160. I don't know who wins with Canelo vs. Crawford, but you're crazy or don't know anything about boxing if you don't believe Crawford is competitive in this fight.

Penny maintained the hold after the train had reached its next stop, Broadway-Lafayette Street, while other passengers held the doors open to prevent it from moving. During the chokehold, some bystanders warned Penny about Neely's health; one told him, "You're gonna kill him now!", while others helped in holding down Neely until police arrived.[4] Vázquez captured the final three minutes of the hold on video, which shows Penny applying it for nearly a minute after Neely had stopped struggling and gone limp.
He probably didn't need to keep choking him after he had gone limp. Neely never put his hands on anyone, and of his 43 arrests, 4 were for assaults. Assault can be verbal threats or battery. Cartainly Penny had no idea he was ever arrested. Neely weighed 130 lb., so if he thought Neely needed to be physically restrained with a chokehold because of those things he was saying, he should have been careful not to kill him.

And that he would be really motivated for Canelo, which may be true. But u do wonder if Bud's power could transfer to 168, I have my doubts. Of course Crawford can win, all we have to do is look at his dimensions, his length, his speed, smartness, grit, hands size and how tall he is standing exactly the same height or a little taller!! Crawford knows how to stay away from big strong punches but it will be a tough one for him though!! Crawford definitely is someone you do not bet against at all!! If the fight is really really close, then we definitely need, good judges because we all know that Crawford is going to put them hands on canelo! How the fight is being judged, is the big thing here because a lot of fights have been judged on aggression and coming forward but not because they actually were Landing punches on the clear Target but because they landed punches on the arms and made it look like they landed, when they really wasn't Landing:-)!
