- I was Introduced to Fiac during the 2019 SEMA show and a few months ago I placed an order for one of their Silver 3 Compressors to replace my Jenny. I've been using it over on the new side of OGHQ and man is it awesome. They're ultra quiet and don't require all that much maintenance thanks to the built in oil heater. These are definitely OG spec.

The "small" 20 gal tank compressor is part of my dream set-up. 😘
With it you can lift a portable 4 pole Bendpak; paint; sandblast; powder coat and power pneumatic tools.

Looks good. I would like to see a vertical 40gal on wheels.
The only issue is Rotary screw compressors are made to run continuously. Not cycle on and off
I bought the Eastwood scroll compressor a year ago. We will see how long that lasts. I am sure the Fiac is way better quality.
I'm looking at the EastWood also but hearing there is reliability issues. hows yours doing?
@@emmanuelmata unfortunately I have not used it at all. Been building a shop to put it in.
@@emmanuelmata The Eastwood is great. Just keep draining the oil tank every time you use it before you started to get the water out. It needs to get very hot to burn the water and in high humidity it accumulates faster. It’s normal that’s why this compressor is $7000 or more with all the dryer set One mod you could do is add a thermostat to the oil cooler line. So the oil gets hot before it circulates through the cooler

Fiac makes much bigger air compressors than what Matt has shown.

Hi what is the dryer units function and is it necessary for a screw compressor? What is their purpose
Removes the moisture out of the air. And yes scroll compressors still produce water, as that is a byproduct of compressing air.
I guess you stopped carrying these?
FIAC was purchased last year. The new company axed these. We have a new Werther version that's not quite as pretty, but super legit.
