Hi Bernie, How do you make money to run your business if you are charging 0% commission? I'm just starting to research staking Solana.
Good question LOL. First of all I'm running the Solana validator mostly to learn, my main business is Xandeum. Also, it's a great strategy to run at 0% commission for summer time to get some stake, and then increase it in the future, let's say when stake is at SOL 1M+
on a a10 scale.what you think? how safe is it to stkae?

I staked all my Solana with Xandeum went from 5% apy to 7% apy.
You should be at over 8% as we speak...

Out of curiosity, what type of servers are you running (linux or windows), and what OEM (dell? hp? IBM?), and how many? Are they specialized servers? And do you run physical servers or cloud servers? And where do you get the code to run it? Wondering if it's feasible to spin up virtual servers in the cloud.
It's all Linux, and all Antsle servers (antsle.com). These are physical servers, we run them in colocation in a datacenter. Virtual servers are not recommended for Solana.

lol you totally skipped over the delinquency section on stakewiz and the big red flag on your validator.
Oh wow you commented on a seven months old video. I published a few more about our validator in the meantime. I did show the delinquency fro everyone to see, but I didn't specifically mention it for brevity reasons. At that point (seven months ago) we hadn't set up our second failover hardware yet (each of our servers costs $10k+, in addition to the monthly hosting fees and the voting fees). So we have ALWAYS been among the firsts to update to the latest version of the validator software, and without a failover server, that results in some short period of "delinquency", i.e. the server not being caught up with the blockchain. These short delinquency periods have only negligible effects on the overall performance and the overall APY. HOWEVER, since that point in time (7 months ago), there has never been even a single instance of delinquency as far as I can remember, since we implemented our failover server. So when updating the validator software, we are switching over to the failover server, then update the primary server, and then switch back, resulting in zero downtime.
As for the big red flag - I have no idea what you are talking about. I can't see any red flag. Our validator has *consistently* been one of the top performing ones and we're really proud of it.
