I got the GH5 ii.

I didn't plan on letting go of the GH5 because I loved it so much, but I had to. I did however get the closest thing to it that I could find, and that's the GH5 ii. Yes, the contrast based autofocus pulsing is driving me nuts too lol.

Matt, Congrats on your new camera! I know how hard it is to have to let go of a camera that has grown with you! But, there are times...out with the old and in with the new! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it in the near future! Thanks for sharing!

I recently traded in for a G9 MK1, and just bought the V-Log L upgrade the other day, should arrive in the post any day now. I'm liking the IQ you're getting with it in the GH5ii, so I'm hoping I ought to be able to replicate something similar with my G9. Like you say in the video, it's hard not to like the M43 platform, even if the G9 is about the same size as the S5, the lenses are where you gain in portability. I mostly use the Lumix 12-35mm f2.8 on my G9, and that lens is both superb in terms of IQ and tiny! A similar lens for the S5 would be three times the price (at least!) and ten times the size! I'm really hoping the rumours that Lumix might be pulling out of M43 aren't true. This platform has to go on and on!

Def seemed as it got darker the camera had a harder time keeping focus on you as you stated - great vid though. Kind of sounds like you really miss your GH5. Personally I can't get enough of my G85!
