- The Battle Axe in Mordhau is quickly gaining favor with me. I've been enjoying slinging the powerful weapon around the game's battlefields since I started using it last week. It's got a powerful swing and overhead slash, though you'll likely want to avoid using it's much weaker stab attack. With careful positioning and paying attention to your surroundings, you'll do just fine with this mighty weapon.
What do you think about these live episodes? The quality loss from transferring from Twitch to TH-cam bothers me, but let me know if it is/isn't an issue for you. Mordhau is so detailed, Twitch just simply cannot process it well, even with an excellent internet connection and more-than-capable hardware. Let me know what you think.

I'm on a binge of watching your videos, love the chill commentary. You should try to change the pov of the camera in 1st person or try to play 3rd person, it changed the game for me, became much better 😊

You should do more feints/morphs. All you do is drags or just plain normal horizontal swings that your enemies quickly catch up on
Yeah, I tend to do more with the Zwei or Eveningstar, because I'm most comfortable with them. I'm still feeling out the battle axe. I just started using it not too long ago.
Do you use key binds? If your going melee you really should. Another thing I do personally is switch the Y and X axis swings opposite in the settings. Once you get used to it, it'll feel more natural. Basically just makes you directional attacks opposite. Look right swing right. It'll throw your opponents off when they expect a swing from one direction, based on your movements, and it comes from the opposite side. That is, if your key binds dont do that already. The opposite swinging covers it for me so I only use overhead and under hand attacks binded. It's nice to have the downward attack binded so you get swings in between teammates especially for the battle ax. Just one click.
Thanks for the tips. But, the downward swing is just scroll wheel. Do you mean that you use a keybind for each angled downward swing (left downward vs. right downward)?
My big dislike for keybindings is that it requires me to take a finger off my movement keys, so it makes strafing difficult. If I'm attacking and my index finger is being used for attacking, and not side-stepping, that seems like a large disadvantage.
@@EpicBrew no my downward and upperward swings are still based on my movement (just what side it comes down on) and I only bind my attacks to the mouse. I use the 3 side buttons onnny mouse and wheel down for one too.
@@cherrybomb3713 Gotcha. I have only one "empty" button on my mouse, the rest are for Discord TTS and adjusting sensitivity on the fly.
