Yes they have money , so what many people have money , they could sit back and do nothing but they are trying to bring people together for something money can’t buy. The people are suffering due to government, Covid, Brexit and a war we have become more involved with than we probably should and we cannot afford. The royal family are needed now as much as they were needed during the war. They make people happy just turning up at a school or hospital and meeting people in a walkabout. Yes you could take away all the money sell off all the castles and palaces get rid of all the pomp and ceremony and do something with the money, would not last long and we as a country would have lost something unique forever which incidentally brings in more revenue for the country than we give too the running of the monarchy and employees thousands of people. There would still be people homeless and cold because of how the county is run and world circumstances. We pay less than £2.00 per head per year, less than a cup of coffee for our royal family, for that I think on the whole we are getting a good service and they bring the country together which we need more than anything else at this very divisive time. I shall definitely watch the service and will be watching the faces of the children and families attending and the carols and it will make me happy and forget the crappy world we are living in for a while .

I would have thought that anyone as smart as she is presumed to be would understand the differences between the 2 countries. I grew up on a farm in the middle of the U.S. and even I would quickly learn how to act in their presence. She is an embarrassment to all. I apologize for my book.
