The Ziz Gorges and, even more, the Todra Gorges, together with the Dades Gorges, are among the most famous attractions for travellers in Morocco. But what not everyone knows is that the short section known as the Togra Gorges is just a microscopic part of a much longer road, along which the views are breathtaking and perhaps even more beautiful than the gorges themselves.
Starting from the north-east I will first cross the entire Atlas chain along the Ziz Gorges, and then take the national road N12 that reaches the Todra Gorges after sleeping in a beautiful guest house in an oasis in the Ziz Valley.
